Very nice hotel in the greenery of the rice fields, away from the noise of the center (15/20 minutes walk from the main road), the room is clean but some smells in the bathroom. Effective air conditioning. European breakfast is a shame, juice or coffee but not both.Efficient lingerie service. The swimming pool is great.On the way to the hotel several restaurants that we really liked including Sweet Orange.A good place to visit Ubud but you have to like walking or have a scooter.

Difficult access, only by motorcycle (complicated) or walking.The hotel itself is very good and clean. Being at the foot of the rice fields, don't be scared if you find some animal or another... the views are spectacular.

I am in this hotel for the second time. I liked it much more this year than 2 years ago. The windows are metal-plastic and geckos don't come into the room anymore. There are amazing views from the hotel to the center of Ubud, I recommend walking

This hotel located in the middle of rice fields is perfect if you are looking for tranquility in Ubud. Although it is a few minutes from the center, it has a free motorcycle taxi service if you want to get around easily. Unbeatable postcard environment and very attentive staff.

This is one of, if not the best location in Ubud, especially if you can rent a scooter.The rooms are clean and well maintained.Only negatives for me about this place are the lack of personnel at times in the Hotel. Wifi doesnt really work, so dont count on it. And breakfast is very basic.Windows in bathroom arent closed for some reason and loads of ants come inside.Positively you get amazing mornings/ evening views on the way out and in, of the Hotel into the rice fields. Pool area looks good, but its so close to hotel lobby that its uncomfortable to even go in. The hotel staff does help you with your luggage if necessary with scooters as it is not possible to reach the hotel with a car.Very quiet except for crickets, peaceful place in the nature.

A great place as a base for trips to Ubud. 15 minutes on foot, 5 minutes by scooter, but only for the brave ones :) important: cars do not reach this location, so you can walk or take a scooter. Great service, rooms very clean. The big advantage is the location away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud, with a view of the rice fields, from the balcony there is a view of beautiful vegetation, very intimate.

QuietLarge bed, comfortable beddingCoffee, tea and water delivered to the room every dayBathroom ok, hot water, good flowBath and toilet towel providedThe small terrace behind the room is very nice.The pool is cleanBreakfast is included, you have the choice between several options.Tidying up the room with making the bed in the morning was great.Access by scooter or on foot only, well located in the rice fields.The staff is welcomingReally nice place

The location is 20 minutes walking from Ubud central parking, if you don’t mind walking, the view is great! They also have staff who can help bring your luggage with motorbikes and you can also borrow or get the staff to drop you to main road. They are very friendly!

Nice quiet accommodation. Lots of restaurants and things to do nearby. The driving service was included, the accommodation cannot be reached by car. Very friendly staff. Daily housekeeping, so the room was always clean. Several breakfast options and juices are available in the morning. We would come back.

Spent 2 nights here. Blanket and bedsheet got blood stains. They have no hair dryer. Water tastes like taken from fish tank. 1 thing i like was nice staffs.

In one word - amazing. You cannot choose better location in Ubud. The surrounding is so beautiful and peaceful. The morning view at rice fields and mountains is unbelievable. The rooms are absolutely clean, very good equipped with very nice terrace. Highly recommend when you want to spent few days in paradise.

Juwuk Manis really deserves more reviews, since it is a beautiful, comfortable and well managed Hotel.It lies in the middle of Juwuk Manis rice fields. There lies its unique charm and its only "disadvantage" if it ever had one. Since it is a bit secluded it will offer you really peaceful nights (aside from junglelike sounds) and a lovely sensation when you wake up. The rooms are very nice, ours had its own pond, and it was overall quite comfortable and charming. The pool is also very nice when it gets hot and humid, and the place is overall extremely beautiful.To move around you can either either perform a long walk through the fields and the market, or you may ask the personnel to carry you back and forth to the center of Ubud via motorbike which they will do at any time of the day or night without hesitation -I cannot stress enough how good a service they provided in that sense- or you might rent your own bike and problem solved. In any case, whatever option you choose, this distance factor should not deter you, it is really worth it and you get quite a matchless deal concerning quality/price relationship.If you also have breakfast included, you can choose everyday one of six combos which come with a drink. If you stay long enough you will get tired of these, but tbh is not something to complain about either.Do enjoy Juwuk Manis and its unique beauty.
