CCTV in the Bedroom!They have 2 surveillance Cameras in the Dorms, so there is no privacy.They are recording and watching you, getting changed and while sleeping.I think it's illegal. They refused to turn it off so we left.Also found some dead bed Bugs, luckily we were not there long enough to find out if there are still living ones.Toilets and bathrooms are really dirty and disgusting

We booked a double bunk bed for one night. This was the most terrible hostel experience I ever made. There are two surveillance cameras in the dorm, one is directly filming the beds. Once a staff member came into the room with out knocking or any kind of logic reason at 21pm to mop the floor(?) When we confronted the staff they told us, they turned the camera off but there was still a red light on so no proof that it was not recording anymore. I never saw anything like that before and also it's illegal to have CCTV in a bedroom.Also we found a dead bed bug and bed bug eggs in the bed. Also the bathroom was extremely dirty and the water dispenser looked like is was never cleaned before. Thestaff were nice but because of all those no goes we left the hostel and did not stay over night to find out if there are still alive bed bugs.

There’s no locker and the place is so smellyEveryone talking about the bedbugsI didn’t want to stay long enough to figure it outI did book 3 nights and i only stay 30 minutesAnd of course zero refundAnd when i talk with the stuff they don’t speak English and when i translate they didn’t care to read

So when i decided to stay here i was a bit worried reading the reviews of people but unfortunately they were all true as the bed has so many bedbugs every night they will come out it's impossible to sleep then as it can cause severe allergic reactions and then the toilets on the upper flour was disgusting and soo soo bad i cant explain in words there were no locks and they were in a really bad state coming to the positives the staff is really good and helpful they are really nice and the location is really good very easy to move around the air con is really goodSo coming up to the conclusion i would not recommend anyone to stay here as bedbugs are a big turnoff and the toilets are super dirtyI would like to give suggestion to the owner that if you fix these things your hostel can become really really good please try to fix the toilets and bedbugs thanks

For the price of 80 thousand, it's quite worth it, because it's only used to rest from night to morning...The mattress is soft, smells good, and by chance I got a mattress on top so it was cold AC, got free coffee facilities hehehe, free fill of mineral water, you can also cook in the kitchen, so for backpackers it's quite a budget saver.For the bathroom, it's not bad and can be used for warm showers.The staff are also quite friendly, the father with the tattoo is very friendly and continues to offer coffee etc... nyakkcak bli

location in the middle of Seminyak. easy access everywhere. strategic location.The room AC was very cold. but unfortunately the bathroom is a bit less clean. friendly staff but overall was okay... thanks for my stay

It's exactly located in the heart of Seminyak, which the traffic will be extremely crowded during the day and night. At the same time, it's easy to reach nearby club as well. In addition, the staffs are very welcome. I booked the room upstairs and it was comfy. Worth the price :)

This Hostel is and has all I was looking for. The rooms were clean, the building is comfortable and most importantly the people were so kind. They helped me with all I needed. I definitely recommend it.

BEDBUGS ❌❌🤢Never book a night at ALA Hostel!!We found bedbugs in our bunk beds!! We immediately went to the staff to get a refund for our stay, but this required a long battle. It took us a very long time to convince them that we should have the money back. In addition, they also refused to give us money to wash our clothes (which also had bedbugs in them).Besides the bedbugs, the air conditioning didn't work, so it was very hot at night, and the sleeping blankets smelled like they weren't washed.There was only 1 shared bath/toilet which was inside the small room which was incredibly disgusting and damp and made the rest of the room smell.ALA Hostel cannot be recommended! And the staff are not to communicate with as they only think about getting money and don't care about our health/wellness. They did not tell the remaining 9 people in our room that bedbugs had been found. They just let them sleep on.
