Beautiful place to stay. Not super large accommodation. But the pools are beautiful and not always super busy.The breakfast included is really lovely, lots of options and fruit. Definitely ask for eggs as they also make them to order.The location is not super close to other activities etc in Uluwatu, however this meant that it was nice and quiet. So if you want to be in walking distance it's not good but a short grab will get you wherever you want to go.Booked a room only 3/4 weeks out of our trip and it was very reasonably priced. I definitely recommend this place.

The restaurant and the associated pool area should be positively mentioned. The food is very tasty and you can relax well.As mentioned in the comments, the rooms are very humid and there are 2 automatic air fresheners that spray a chocolate smell every 10 mins. The scent is very strong and unpleasant and especially in combination with the damp smell the room is very stuffy. The mattresses are too soft. Additionally, the main pool was being worked on during our stay and it was very noisy. In general, the rooms are noisy and you can hear when the neighbors are showering, etc.

There are better places you could find for the price, however, this was the only place available when we booked. The food and service were stellar, everyone was super nice and we ate at the restaurant many times and the location is great. Food hygiene was good and everything seemed clean. Obviously this place has a problem with the smell reading some of the reviews, and I suppose they have read them and decided to put these loud automatic air freshener sprayers that eject a chemical toffee smell into every room once every 10 minutes or so, which kept us up most nights. All of the floors and the bathroom as a whole did not seem to be cleaned properly. The bathroom had a musty smell and the floor was sticky, while the bedroom floor had evidently never seen the business end of a mop. Our sheets also had mysterious stains on them so a bit gross. We had multiple blackouts during our stay but that’s more of a Bali problem than a hotel problem. Also the walls are paper thin, we heard everything our neighbours were doing and saying the entire time. Overall, not bad, could be better.

The hotel is perfect, we stayed 2 nights in a Standard room with a balcony and views of the pool.Everything is very clean. The coffee air freshener in the room is wonderful.The drawbacks:Location a little far awayWifi doesn't work very well

The hotel was pleasantly quiet, which allowed for a relaxed breakfast experience. The breakfast featured mostly Balinese hot dishes, which were a bit unfamiliar to me, but there were also options like toast, pancakes, and waffles. The rooms could have been a bit cleaner, but they were still acceptable. Overall, the value for money is excellent. Dinner at the on-site restaurant was great, with a wide selection and reasonable prices. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

A very nice, affordable and efficient hotel in Uluwatu! Staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Our room smelled so goo all the time, and they clean the rooms everyday (change towels, make the beds, clean the bathroom). Variety and taste of food is superb as well! Will definitely go stay in Ratan again in my next Bali trip❤️
