We visited the hotel a week ago. It is a very nice hotel and our room which was the private pool villa offered us a unique experience. The bathroom was outdoors and was clean, given that there were some insects. The pool had a 24 hours cleaning machine and the stuff was there to remove the flowers any time we wanted. The spa area was in total tranquility and we did enjoy the reflexology massage.

If you’re looking for a luxurious retreat, complete with cockroaches, terrible service, and a dark, eerie atmosphere, then The Mansion Resort Hotel & Spa is the place to be. Let’s just say this stay was memorable, but not in the way I had hoped.Food:I’ve had some interesting meals in my life, but none quite like the breakfast at this “luxury” resort. Picture this: sitting down with my family to enjoy what should have been a decent breakfast, only to find a cockroach in my child’s macaroni. Yes, at breakfast! Nothing quite like a little extra crunch to start your day, right? I didn’t realize that the breakfast buffet offered insect protein as a hidden feature. Needless to say, that meal was over before it even began. You’d think after finding a cockroach in a child’s food, the staff would be rushing to fix the situation. But nope—just a shrug and a blank stare, as if it was perfectly normal.As for the rest of the breakfast, if you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to eat food that tastes like it was boiled in plain water and served without a second thought, this is your place. Everything was either tasteless, overcooked, or suspiciously reheated. I’ve had more flavorful meals from a vending machine.Room:Then there’s the room, or as I like to call it, the time capsule. Stepping inside was like traveling back a few decades, minus the nostalgia. The musty smell hit us before we could even unpack, and the furniture looked like it had seen better days—long ago. The bedding didn’t inspire confidence either, and I couldn’t help but wonder if the sheets had been washed recently. The bathroom? Let’s just say, if you’re into leaky faucets and dirty tiles, you’ll love it.Customer Service:Now, let’s talk about the real highlight of our stay: the customer service. Upon checking in, the front desk forgot to give us the key to our room. No big deal, right? Except after hauling our bags up, we had to trudge all the way back down to retrieve it. When we pointed out the mistake, we were met with a casual “sorry” and a laugh, like it was all a joke. I didn’t realize basic hospitality had become a punchline.And when we reported the cockroach in our child’s food? A polite nod, some blank stares, and zero action. The level of indifference was truly astounding. It’s one thing to make a mistake, but to act like it’s no big deal is another story entirely. We weren't asking for much, just some basic professionalism, which seems to be a foreign concept here.Common Areas at Night:If you’re someone who enjoys a little mystery with your luxury, you’ll love walking through the common areas at night. Why bother with proper lighting when you can stumble through the dark? It felt like I was in a horror movie, minus the fun. The dim, eerie atmosphere made me wonder if I’d taken a wrong turn into a haunted house instead of a luxury hotel. At one point, I half-expected to bump into a ghost—or maybe another disgruntled guest.Breakfast Mismanagement:Let’s return to breakfast for a moment, because it deserves special mention. While there were enough tables, the buffet itself was another story. Items were being refilled with no regard for quality. Everything seemed rushed, thrown together, and, honestly, just sad. The food tasted like it was hastily boiled in water and dumped on the serving trays with no seasoning, no care, and no management in sight to fix the mess. It was so poorly handled that it felt like the staff had just given up entirely.Overall:In all seriousness, my stay at The Mansion Resort Hotel & Spa was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the cockroach incident to the dark, gloomy common areas, to the tasteless food, and the complete lack of customer care, it’s hard to believe this place considers itself a luxury resort. If you’re considering staying here, do yourself a favor and reconsider. This is not the relaxing, high-end getaway you might be hoping for. It’s more like a comedy of errors—and not a very funny one at that.

This hotel sits in beautiful grounds its quiet clean and peaceful. |Room was spacious quirky shower which was a novelty .staff was helpful and couldn't do enough for u . |The breakfast was basic the omelette was great .|This place falls still around 10/10.30 | The pools are lovely and great temperature .

When all the restaurants were closed due to Galungan, our kids were in trouble because they couldn't have breakfast.At that time The Mansions were willing to accept it, even if it was only breakfast.Thank you for your wonderful support. We will come and stay someday.

We reached the resort with lot of expectations but they were a big let down. We did not even get the room which we booked two months back for our anniversary. Staffs were not helpful they provided us some ghost house. Though it was very big room but was not maintained well. Toilet was not clean. Pool surroundings were full of grasses. No privacy. Not clean pool sitting area.Some staffs were good but others were very unresponsive and they were paying attention to only white people(which is a racist behavior). I would never go back there and would never recommend to anyone.Also the breakfast had no much options. Everyday same menu with less choices. The staffs won't even attend us during breakfast.I am very disappointed with the stay and am very sad about why did we have to choose this resort for our anniversary.So guys never go there.

The hotel was the worst i’ve ever been to.|It first looked like a haunted house, it was extremly dirty animals were found in the rooms and that was unaccetable .We even found a mouse on the breakfast table.We first booked 5 nights,we ended staying 2 and then we left for Nusa Dua early.
