The Mahata is a boutique paradise in Legian. It has it all. Superb rooms, a stunning pool, an immaculate restaurant as well as peace and quiet. We arrived tired from a long flight and the cool room and excellent bed were very welcome. We stopped to have a delicious light dinner and then slept perfectly in total comfort.That is the hotel covered, but now on to the real heart of The Mahata....From the minute you arrive you are treated with charm and respect from the delightful staff. They are the heart of The Mahata experience. The service was outstanding from Ferli at Reception, Hevi at dinner and Febri at breakfast, and another thank you to Ibun who helped us solve a problem. We also appreciated the gentlemen at the door who seemed to be able to carry many bags at the same time. He was great!We definitely enjoyed every minute of our stay and we would recommend The Mahata as the perfect place to enjoy the heart of Legian Beach, and only a quick drive from the airport.Terima kasih x

The Mahata is a charming new boutique hotel that spans two levels, encircling a stunning swimming pool complete with a swim up bar. Nestled in the heart of Legian, it’s just a two-minute stroll to Garlic Lane, where you’ll find an array of shopping and restaurants (and trust me, I visited them all).The rooms at The Mahata are fully air-conditioned and equipped with everything a modern traveller desires, from the fresh, crisp white linens on the beds to rain shower heads in the bathrooms, and even providing me with a complimentary sandwich for my extremely late check-in. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the incredible staff. From the wonderful receptionist Ferli, who has certainly captured my heart, to the welcoming security guard at the entrance, everyone went above and beyond to make my stay a memorable one.Even though I stayed solo for just seven nights, I’m already planning my return. The Mahata truly exceeds expectations!Please be aware that there is no elevator to the first floor, so if you have trouble with stairs, I recommend requesting a ground floor room.

The Mahata Legian is now my favourite hotel in Bali and I have been to Bali many times.The hotel is very clean and nicely designed. The price is great and the location and food were also good.Myself, my wife and our two daughters (1 and 4 years old) stayed in one hotel room with a cot and still found it to be comfortable and spacious.The free breakfast set up is amazing. Two course al acarte menu. Options were great and portion size big enough that we fed the four of us with the two free breakfasts included.Cannot say enough about the staff! They were warm and welcoming and accommodating of everything we asked of them. They got to know our children and made our stay a wonderful experience.If I could find any small areas for improvement it would be the coffee, slippery tiles around the pool area and limited pool area seating. But they do not detract from our desire to stay here again.

Huge compliment to the full team at Mahata Legian. From Ani, Ferli, and Angga who asked about our day, and welcomed us back with a friendly composure, to Gus Siwa and Ibun who ushered us back and were glad to see us after a long day, and a special thumbs up to Kadek, with whom we always had a genuine exchange, who always took an interest in what we wanted to explore, and who recommended local food options for us as we were adventurous to try them.Excellent rooms, well-furnished, clean, and pleasing to be in.A brilliant experience throughout our 5 days here as first timers in Bali.A genuine thank you to the whole team. May you all be well and jalan ni saja, always.
