Hotel with awesome location, but weak room quality.I just realized that finding a good and cheap hotel in Jakarta is actually quite difficult. For the price of 300 thousand like this Sare, the room turned out to be a bit dirty, strangely when I entered, there was still hair on the pillowcase, and the glasses and spoons were dirty and had not been washed. There was also a lot of cigarette ash on the floor. Yes, even though this is a smoking room (2nd floor), the 'forms' of previous customers are still swept clean first, right?However, the hotel staff was quite helpful, after I submitted a complaint via telephone, the staff immediately came to clean the pillowcases, drinking utensils and cigarette ash.The plus point is that you can just walk to the Blok M culinary area. I can taste culinary hits and viral hits because I can arrive early, so I don't have to queue too much :)Overall, I'm recommending you this budget-hotel but be aware to check the room cleanliness first once you get in :)

The room was dark and smelled of cigarettes. Dirty towels. Hotel staff tried to enter the room without knocking. After looking at other reviews, it seems like the staff are naughty and like to steal things. The hotel also does not want to be responsible if items are lost. Every hotel should be responsible if something goes missing in the room. Does not make sense

It seems that this is not good for a standard 400 hotelThere is no toilet tissue, the towels are really dirty, the sheets tooI stayed 3 nights and couldn't double lock at all.There's no breakfast either

Standard...Price is 400 thousand but you can't get breakfast.Access to Blok M, Polri & PLN is close.The TV's internet receiver/modem is damaged.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel SARE. This hotel is not only comfortable, but also very close to the city center, which was very helpful when we attended the Indonesian Educator Gathering event. We feel that Hotel SARE is the perfect choice for us, teachers, when we have activities in Jakarta. Apart from the strategic location, the hotel owner's family gave us a very warm welcome, making us feel like we were at home. The hotel staff are also very friendly and always ready to help overcome our difficulties while staying here. We highly recommend Hotel SARE to fellow teachers looking for suitable accommodation in Jakarta.

The place is clean, quiet and comfortable. The parking space is minimal and quite dangerous because it is on the side of a big road. The hotel location is strategic.

The location is easy to access and near convinient store that open till 10pm and 24hr restaurant, and in walking distance you can reach the Blok M Bus Station and mall surrounding the area.The building don't have parking lot, so you will need to park on the street.I booked Duplex Executive room type and I got room on 4th Floor and there are elevator available. The building itself kinda old so I didn't expect much from the sound coming from the crowded street into my room.AC in the room is cool fast, TV wide and clear, hot water stream is nice, bedsheet is clean enough, some areas like tables didnt wiped from last guest use. I suggest you to bring own towel because it was dirty and smell like old ones (maybe because stored below the ceiling blower).Reception available for 24hrs, overall I enjoyed my stay.

This is my favorite staycation place!!!The appearance from the outside is not that big and just ordinary. But the Sundanese cultural vibe is quite interesting and the service is friendly. As for the room size and room facilities, it's okay...The place is very strategic, close to McD, Lounge, MIni market, affordable and delicious street food. The location is also close to the Blok M busway stop, so mobilizing here and there is really easy. Affordable prices, guys, let's try to stay!!

At first I was confused looking for the place, because it turned out to be in a shophouse. When I entered the room it was okay, I used three of them and it wasn't cramped. Unfortunately the TV isn't very clear, the remote is difficult to change channels, the volume can't be adjusted, then when I watch it the videos are still somewhere, the sound has gone nowhere.The good thing is that it's really close to a 24 hour McD, so if you're hungry at night it's also safe.
