The hotel is in a bad condition... it's an old hotel but with that many stars the property should still be functioning, right? The bathroom water hole is clogged, after fixing the toilet it can't be flushed, the TV for some reason has the maximum sound, it's just like someone whispering, the sound is really small. his. When it's been fixed, it turns on small again. Not to mention wanting to order an extra bed, you have to go downstairs first and pay but you can't get it straight away when you get it in the room, even though we are on the 13th floor to the lobby, it's quite a walk, we're already tired and want to sleep. Oh my, it feels like I'm staying in a 2 or 3 star hotel. The only plus is breakfast, I wouldn't stay here anymore.

(When I was stationed here from 1992 to 2000), the Hilton Hotel had the best access to traffic between Gatot Subrotou Street (directly connected to the expressway) and Sudirman Street. It was valued as a good hotel. The site is large, full of greenery, and in a prime location with no tall buildings around, it was so busy that the leaders of various countries always stayed there when international conferences such as APEC were held.I remember that many famous people such as President and Mrs. Clinton, prime ministers of various countries, and MC Hammer stayed at the hotel. After all, for those who knew and experienced the Hilton at that time, at that time, this hotel (even among many five-star hotels such as Shangri-La and Intercontinental) was the highest in Jakarta in terms of overall scores. The residence next door was called the Winner's Wing for top corporate executives, and at the time was a special residence for high-level executives of the most well-equipped companies. When I visited Jakarta for the first time in 20 years, the first thing that came to my mind was the former Hilton (currently Sultan), so I made a reservation without any hesitation. This time, I felt that hotel prices in Jakarta were also rising, with other 4-5 star foreign hotels costing 30,000 to 50,000 yen (per night) (I think it's definitely more expensive than Bangkok).Among them, "Sultan" is priced in the 10,000 yen/night range. However, the Google.map ratings and comments are so bad...lol) Just reading that makes me afraid to stay there...I wonder if Hilton has fallen so much after losing its capital...Well, it's been quite a while. …My impressions after actually staying here are:・As a former Hilton, the "boxes" have a luxurious feel and are just like the old days.・There is very little customer traffic and the lobby is lonely. There wasn't even music playing.・The front lobby was completely deserted and was used as a parking lot (currently, the main entrance to the lagoon tower seems to be the main entrance).・On Saturdays and Sundays, traffic is restricted (Sudirman Street is completely closed), so cars cannot reach the front of the hotel and have to walk 10-20 meters. Top hotels would never let something like this happen...・Previously, the breakfast at the coffee shop in the hotel was luxurious and wonderful, but now the atmosphere is completely local and it's no good.・In the first place, the accommodation group has changed, and there are many local children staying there, probably on a school trip or something.・There are almost no restaurants within the hotel, and there is no place to go outside to eat, so you will have to travel by car or taxi.・ Senayan Park is adjacent, so it is recommended for those who want to go for a run.・The building and rooms themselves are not particularly well-maintained (it was originally an old hotel), and I feel like they are well-maintained (I'm actually impressed by how well they're kept for such a large hotel). Perhaps because it hasn't been renovated, I can't help but feel like it's falling into disrepair.・The employees are all polite and have a good attitude (as expected from a former Hilton). The view was still the same as before, but it was no longer the elegant, first-class hotel it had been at the time.I've heard rumors that this site seems to be state-owned and may be confiscated. So, if you don't mind the aging hotel facilities, the location is good, the price is low, the rooms are spacious, and the view is good, so if you're interested...No, there are probably more convenient hotels available for the same price....I would recommend this hotel only to old people who know old Jakarta and want to immerse themselves in nostalgia...

Quite a pleasant hotel with typical Indonesian buildings and interiors, feels like it's back to the 90s,Clean swimming pool, friendly staff. There is a fee for breakfast for a 6 year old child, it's a shame that the child only eats plain bread and juice. At that price.Consider again the policy of paying for food for children whose stomach contents are not much at that price.
