Feel bad to review poorly because the staff were very kind and there were attempts to make the place cute but it was rough. We booked the deluxe size room on Agoda but our room matched the standard room's photos on the listing. When asked, they said what we had was the deluxe room even though the photo was clearly different. we stayed 2 weeks and encountered 6 roaches. the sheets smelled kinda weird, and the room smelled a bit like smoke, I think because people smoke outside the building.I'm fine with lower quality for low price, but I'm in a place in Busan right now for literally $20 USD a night that's leagues above in quality and location. The #1 thing going for the hotel is the location. Yeonsinnae isn't hongdae or Gangnam but the hotel itself was directly on the metro station so we were instantly connected to wherever we needed to go. There was a convenience store and laundry mat right outside the building, and just down the block was a lively street that felt like a mini hongdae. Great food options, little shops, etc. it was cool to be the only tourists in the area, I don't think we saw more than two foreigners in yeonsinnae in our two weeks there.I would say if low quality for low price is your thing - go for it - but I don't think the price was low enough to justify not just staying in a hostel.

I decided to go to Hotel Yaja at Yeonsinnae Station after reading the reviews and ratings. It was the worst motel I've ever been to. If your boyfriend or girlfriend comes here with the other person, they will slap you and break up with you right away. The facilities are very old, the rooms are narrow and smelly, and the pillows and blankets are yellow and smelly. I thought you were at a North Korean inn. If you ask me to come back again, I will just sleep on the street.
