Front desk is courteous and helpful.Hotel location is not in the middle of Seoul (+30min) and is best for experiencing local food and local people. The hotel is located between two subway stations of two different lines, so it's easy to get back here from Seoul. Bus stop to Seoul is within 2 minutes walk.Good prices for food choices that are within 50-200 steps from the hotel's door. Many are 24hr operating. Convenient stores are within 2 minutes of walking.It all depends on what one wants; we enjoyed our stay here because the room was spacious and the bed was big and comfy. Their TV has 200 channels to choose from. Most importantly we didn't hear much noise from the hallway or from the streets.Even though room cleaning happens every other day, guests can get new towels and water from the front desk daily.This is our first Korea hotel experience and we appreciate the value and the location. Your mileage may vary.Photo was taken on the hotel's balcony floor.

The Hotel RU136 is a medium-sized, middle-class hotel with some of the design elements of a boutique hotel. .The hotel looks modern from the outside with its dark color, which stands out somewhat from the surrounding buildings. The outside area is unspectacular and virtually undesigned. There are parking spaces in front of and behind the hotel.The reception in the lobby is staffed 24 hours a day by professional, unobtrusive staff who greet you in a friendly manner and speak sufficient English. There is also a kind of café in the attractive lobby, although I never saw any guests or staff there. There is a carafe of water and a microwave in the lobby. A modern elevator leads to the rooms on floors 2 to 8, followed by the suites and finally the accessible roof garden, which offers a nice view and has seating.

Loved this hotel, if only it was in a closer location to centre Seoul. But the help the staff gave us with taxis on checkout was very valuable. Rooms were very comfortable and roomy. It also had a drying cupboard which was really handy and easy to use.

The service was good. They upgraded us to a room with a bathtub. It's not far from the MRT. You can also rent bicycles nearby for transportation.

Anyway, the room was good compared to the price.The location may be a little far away, but it wasn't too noisy. There were no major problems getting around as there were stations above and below. There are also many delicious restaurants around.I think the service is also friendly.However, when I turned off the light switch in the room, the letters written on the switch began to glow, making the room quite bright, and I had to put paper on it to block out the light.I would like to use it again if I ever stay in Korea again.
