I simply love this place. I shouldn’t even write a review so that it wouldn’t be booked when I come again. The owner of this place is super nice! She’s so pleasant and accommodating that we feel at home. …

It’s a superb place in terms of location! Unfortunately the rooms are really not cleaned enough. It’s a shame, everything would be perfect with more effort!

When in Korea, one must always try to stay in a hanok. And I just did that, right smack in the middle of Jeonju Hanok Village. This place is super convenient. If you do take taxi, then the road is just mere meters from the hanok. And if you want to explore the hanok village, it is right smack in the middle. The host of the establishment was very welcoming and gave a few suggestions of where to dine. But on to the rooms itself. I got myself a single/twin room. For the most part it was clean. Toiletries (hand soap, bath soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste) was provided. The bath towels are small (more like hand towels) but the host mentioned we could take more if we required. The room itself was clean, though I do know that a blonde/reddish haired person stayed right before me as there was remnants of the hair in the bathroom sink, the bathroom wall, and stuck on the heavy futon mat thing. I understand the futon mat thing is heavy and may not be washed often, but a good vacuum over it would help to remove the hair. Just a suggestion. The room itself had TV, though who spends all their time in a room when you have a whole town to explore. The area itself is quiet, so you do get peaceful sleep. I understand why Koreans love sleeping on those floor mattress thing. It does wonders for your back. It stretched my back up that I woke up feeling fresh and energised. The one thing I did not like was the aircon. Cause the controller was in Korean, and no matter how many times I tried to translate it using the app, it still did not work. The fan was too strong even at the lowest setting. And after adjusting the temperature, once you turn it off, and then you turn it back on, it goes back to 18deg and full fan speed. So you freeze for a bit.Water pressure while showering is strong and the water heats up quickly. Internet, like all of Korea is fast as well.I would definitely return to this hanok if I ever go back to Jeonju. Worth every penny.

It's okay that the room is small, but the soundproofing isn't very good.It may be a good idea for families or sensitive people to look for other accommodations. However, the location inside the Hanok Village is really good.

cold.... ondol Ondol is cold. So there is a radiator. Even though it's cold, the boss says it's no problem and won't come. The service is stellar. Of course, not all rooms are cold. There may be monsoon winds. The problem is, what can explain the cold floor even two hours after laying down the blanket? I would like to completely not recommend it. I guess I didn't know because I wasn't in this room before, or maybe it was only broken this time, but I called twice to say it was cold... and they just told me to wait.Isn’t it a bit much? If they had shown the sincerity to at least come and see, I wouldn't have felt so bad. It's 4:28 a.m. on the floor under the blanket.I felt warm, but I woke up cold. The moment I get out of the blanket, I start shaking. The radiator only slightly reduces the cold... I was given the worst accommodation experience.

Unforgettable experience of staying in hanok (traditional Korean house). Despite our worries, futons were very comfortable to sleep, and the sound of crickets outside during nighttime helped to relax perfectly. …

The location and surrounding scenery were great. However, the bathroom was too small and smelly, and especially the blankets were not clean.
