This hotel is one of the most fascinating places to stay in Jeju! I’ve heard a lot about The Shilla Jeju that they have extremely high hospitality service clear and hygienic place. These are why you should visit The Shilla not any others1) They have great garden and views. I stayed in garden view room but they place me the room seeing the ocean on the right side. So, it was so pleasant that I could see beautiful view in calmness while staying at the hotel.2) Their room and hotel condition is very aesthetic and unique. It is true that it is a bit old and actually the carpet in the hallway is a bit stinky. I am afraid to say it smells like “pee”. But except that, eveything was great. Around the hotel, beautiful art piece is the great spot to take photos and room condition was too good to say its old. Wall paper is pretty and all other furniture was well fitted to overall mood.3) The best part about is the swimming pool. It has indoor and outdoor pools but i personally don’t like to play indoor so i played outside. from around 6-9, invited singers and musician performed and it is so fun and you can fully enjoy the pool party with others. But, just note that it is far different from the ones thrown in Seoul! Mostly kids and families are in the pool. It was not annoying even I visited on season. There is an adult pool and it is so pretty and you can enjoy more if you book cabaña! But better to book in advance! Highly recommend to order zzambbong!4) staffs are so kind and helpful. I once was waiting in line for my personal issue. But one of the staffs recognized me and solved my problem fast! Also, i actually failed to book the cabana but the staff kindly gave me one of them free of charge! It was probably because almost 11pm! Anyway it was awesome!Im going to visit The Shilla next time when I visit Jeju! Might be even longer!

I was staying in my own room while traveling with friends. I am a person of color and the treatment was very very different. They immediately took the bags from my male friend and didn't even offer to take mine despite my friend requesting them to help me.I also requested an upgrade to an ocean view room. The person checking me in initially was even hesitant to look. I requested and when I was willing to pay he seemed shocked by my ability to payFinally the rooms are outdated. Not worth the price.Overall not a great stay for a solo female traveler of color.

First of all, I was disappointed in many ways. The quality of the buffet I had for dinner on the first night was truly shocking. Also, the female staff member who just walked back and forth and did not do her work seemed in need of correction. The bathroom in the second room was not cleaned properly. A few hairs were visible and there was a slight smell of mold in the shower booth. The water pressure in the shower was also a bit low. It's a bit weak. The room we stayed in was a premium room in number 880, but the line to the 6th floor lobby was too long, which was inconvenient. I didn't like the taste of the free water provided in the room. If you are sensitive to the taste of water, it would be a good idea to prepare bottled water.Pros: I would like to tell you if this will be helpful to those who are going to the outdoor swimming pool. The water temperature is warmer than lukewarm, so it won't be a big problem to play in the water. There is also a foreign band performing on the pool stage in the evening. The walking trail is good

Shilla Hotel in the best location. The swimming pool, internal facilities, and service are great. You don't need a swimming pool hat, and the adult pool is very relaxing and nice.I like that they lend out all the gym clothes, socks, and shoes. It's an old hotel, so the rooms aren't modern, but they have a resort feel and are clean, and the pillows and sheets are all great! In particular, the garden is old and has a lot of trees, so it's really the best!!

Although it is an old hotel, it is very clean and the service is excellent. As this is a hotel where VIPs from international conferences stay, the service is attentive to every detail. The breakfast venue is incredibly large, with Chinese, Italian, American, Korean, and many other dishes that you won't be able to eat all in one day.It might be better to have a leisurely lunch. The Korean restaurant in the evening was also a great meal.
