It was my first time staying in a hanok and it was a wonderful experience.There's a convenience store right on the corner just outside the hotel, and you can walk pretty much anywhere.The only thing I was disappointed about was that I suddenly had to leave early in the morning, so I wanted to talk to him the day before, but I hadn't seen the owner since I checked in.I was a little worried because he wasn't there when I got home after 7am.Other than that it was a good hotel overall. The owner I spoke to at check-in was also a very nice person.

The photo of this Hanok hotel on Google Map may make people think it is quite large, but in fact it is just a small B&B with about 5 rooms. The room is new and clean. There is a convenience store at the intersection. It is also very close to Cheomseongdae. The location is very good.However, the owner of the B&B was away most of the time. When we checked in, we read the instructions written on the sign and handled it ourselves. The owner of the B&B only showed up during breakfast time, and she barely spoke English. We had to communicate with her through Google Translate. For foreigners, Not very convenient for tourists. The breakfast provided was toast with jam, some cherry tomatoes, a pot of tea and black coffee, which was disappointing for the price of the accommodation. The sleeping mat in the room was relatively thin. Although we took another mat from the cupboard and laid it on another layer, it was still too hard. In comparison, the sleeping mats provided by ryokans are much more comfortable.Overall, the CP value is not high!

Best hanok stay I have experienced! The room is cozy and clean. Shower area comes with heating which is great for the cold weather. Smart TV with Netflix available. Location is also great with a huge carpark nearby and GS25 just a few steps away. Walkable distance to the main attractions too. Highly recommended.

It's so annoying because there's no soundproofing.I don't know what they were thinking when building it.I can hear the daily noise in so much detail that I want the person who built this building to be punished by staying here for 3 months.You can even tell when people in the other room use dialect, and even sounds you don't want to know are vividly conveyed.

Great Hanok as a hotel, very stylish and simple but very well decorated. Good breakfast, very nice people. We slept very well and the location is perfect. There is air conditioning, television and a good bathroom with shower, so high standard.

Charming service on arrival and at breakfast.This is traditional hanok it's beautiful but there is no furniture in the room and you sleep on the floor. Our host suggested we put a double layer of mattresses down. Good advice for the effete westernerGood bathroom and shower.It's well located for the sights and the bus to the KTX station.

It's nice because it's in a relatively quiet place, just off Hwangridan-gil. It is a hanok with high ceilings, exposed beams and rafters, and has a great openness and cozy rooms and garden. It's convenient because there's a convenience store right in front, it's next to Cheomseongdae, and it's right in the middle of Hwangridan-gil and Donggungwolji, so you can walk to both.Parking is convenient as there is a free public parking lot for about three cars in front of the house and 30m in front. I visited during the holidays and couldn't find a public parking lot during the day, but the parking lot in front of the house was a huge attraction.Breakfast was toast, coffee, tea, milk, and some fruit, and the host was friendly. I highly recommend it if you want to stay in a hanok in Gyeongju.
