Very close to Myeongdong subway station and airport bus (within 5 minutes walk)Although the room is not big, it is small, well-equipped, and very clean. There are also free instant noodles.The suitcase can be opened completelyIt’s just that there is no elevator and the stairs are small, making it difficult to carry luggage.

Super great service attitude! Even if you arrive early in the morning, you can check in smoothly! Free breakfast, snacks, coffee, juice, and milk are also provided! Really good good good! The boss lady is also very enthusiastic~~~~

Such an adorable place! Rooms are comfy and clean, the breakfast and hangout area is adorable (there is handmade jam and tea!), and the people who run the place are absolutely the sweetest ever !

We've just had a great stay here at Ari's guesthouse. The host was brilliant the room more than adequate. Super clean !
The breakfast was great with homemade jams and ginger teas. Faultless, great value, and a great location !

Great location at a great value, but know what you’re getting into.This is a wonderful guesthouse for a certain type of traveler, but it is not for everyone. A few things to be aware of:(1) There is no elevator and you will need to carry your luggage up 2-3 floors of stairs.(2) The front desk is staffed by one person, so make sure you can check in on time.(3) You will be sleeping on floor mats. Great if you’re a firm sleeper like me; probably unbearable if you require something plush.(4) The bathroom is the shower stall. The water will drain through the floor. As a result, everything in the bathroom, including the toilet, will get wet when you shower. There is a hairdryer in the room but note that it’s kept in the main living space because of this. Make sure to plan around the bathroom getting wet, especially if you’re traveling in a group. Fortunately, it dries fairly quickly.(5) The common area is not heated. I wouldn’t plan to spend too much time there during the winter. Also, the steps are a bit uneven so be careful of tripping.Now, onto the great parts:(1) Location is fantastic. You are right by the Myeongdong subway and across the street from all the action.(2) Price is fantastic. I book a room for 3 despite being alone because it was the cheapest room I could find. I felt that $60/night was a great deal; split 3 ways would have been even more amazing.(3) Friendly and helpful English-speaking staff.(4) Rooms are warm. It was -12C in Seoul when I visited. Yet my room was always nice and toasty. I didn’t even feel cold when exiting the bathroom after taking a shower. This is huge to me and something that I sometimes find lacking when staying in large hotel rooms or suites.(5) Despite being small and budget-friendly, there are small surprise perks. For example, there are small packets of disposable toothpaste in the bathroom. The floors are heated. Fresh towels are delivered outside the room every morning.I strongly recommend staying here as long as you can navigate the stairs and the bedding.
