Service and rooms are nice. Bedding is literally on the floor. Recommend only for 20 and younger. Older bodies beware. Location great.

I've stayed here in the past and really enjoyed the experience. The property is well-located on a quiet street in Myeongdong. It's close to tourist attractions, but there's still a true neighborhood feel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and I loved sleeping on the futon. An elevator would have been nice, but stairs are healthier. The property was immaculately clean, and I loved the traditional feel. It felt like a true cultural experience.I was excited to stay again, but had to cancel my stay at the last minute due to illness. At this point, there was supposed to be a fee involved. They were so lovely during my previous visit, I didn't mind paying because I didn't want them to lose money for the last-minute cancelation. As it turned out, they waived the fee. They didn't have to. They didn't need to.This may have been a one time courtesy, so I hope no one reading this expects the same or tries to take advantage. In short, this is a solid, clean budget accommodation in a great location run by genuinely nice people. It will always be one of my go-tos in Seoul.

Great service. Friendly and responsive host. Very convenient location a few minutes from train station and main shopping district. Very easy to locate. They have a luggage scale which is handy. Bag storage available. Clean rooms. Great value!

It was close to the station and bus, so even I, who has no sense of direction, could easily find it. It was quiet and comfortable at night, making it feel like my own home, and the host was very kind. I will definitely go again!

Traveled alone and stayed for two nights. Unbeatable location - 1min to train station and 2min to shopping area, but is on a quiet slope and have a school next to it.Room is self-contained even with a small fridge, TV has a lot of channels to watch, shower water is strong and well-heated. Shampoo, conditioner and bath gel are provided. Distilled water hot and cold available at the corridor outside room.Manager/Host is very kind to provide me extra futon and blanket upon request. Check-in and out is self-service and seamless, communication via booking website is fast.Thank you for the hospitality, I enjoyed my stay!

Taipei residents:The location of this hotel is really good. It's very close to Myeongdong Station. If you want to go shopping or eat, all the KKDAY one-day tours are gathered at the bus transfer station, which is less than 10 minutes away.You can take the escalator up from Myeongdong Station Exit 1, turn left at the Starbucks intersection and go up the slope, and you can see it.The boss will give you the password for the electronic lock on the first floor door a few days before you check in. You can take the key on the left hand side of the door and go upstairs.Clean towels will be provided every day in bags at the door. You can also pack water yourself. The bags containing towels are the garbage bags in each room. People who stay for multiple days can change the garbage bags by themselves and bring the garbage bags to the centralized hotel. Just put it next to the trash can in the area.The room is equipped with: plug adapters, clothes hangers, refrigerator, TV, hair dryer, shower gel, shampoo, toothpaste, toilet paper. If you donโt have a toothbrush, you need to bring your own.There will be a stack of new paper cups next to the water place, or you can prepare your own bottled water.The entire building is managed and cleaned by the owner himself, so it is kept very clean.You will ask about check-out before checking out, because the boss will come to help you carry your excess luggage downstairs.By the way, there are only stairs in the entire 4-story building, which is used for fitness.

Very good location: just in front of the bus station (for Airport Limousine) and Myeongdong station. 5minute walk to myeongdong shopping area and night market.

Super close to myeong dong station!Easy to go everywhere but it might has some noisy which is understandableThe room is a bit small but clean and comfortable!The owner is so helpful ๐I highly recommend here, I would definitely go again

The location is the star. Going down the street you are already in the local bustle with the street food market and skincare shops. The price is perfect for the location.There are no beds, they are futon style on the floor and that is something to keep in mind if you are not used to it or it makes you uncomfortable. For me it was fine and even comfortable (I thought it wouldn't be)The room is small but the reality is that you are never there.The arrival was easy and without seeing anyone (they leave the keys at the entrance)
