The hotel is in an exceptional location in the middle of Seoraksan national park and right beside the main entrance to the park. Breakfast food was fantastic with a great range of Korean food as well as more Western food. …

The location is excellent. The Seoraksan National Park is a stunning place to visit and a very worthwhile stop on a trip to South Korea. The Kensington is perfectly located for visiting. It's a short stroll to the entrance of the park.  …

Extremely worn down hotel. The view is great, and the location is perfekt for hiking in the national park, but the whole seems like it is falling apart. Our room smelled like mould and had cracks everywhere. It really felt like a place that had its glory 20 years ago.

Location is great, yes, but that’s about it. I knew the place was a little run down, I don’t care that the furniture is a bit overused or that the decor is out of date. …

Bathroom is terrible. Countertops at knee level, shower floods the entire room. And not even a proper door! Beds are hard. Air conditioning works and windows are screened! Breakfast is very expensive. Huge selection, but tasteless. Perfect location.

Location is second to none for access to the national park.Service from the desk was great. They were very polite and helpful with everything including a charger loan. The rooms themselves had nice beds but a run down overall feel. Obvious issues includes the terrace door not opening properly and some of the roof tape coming off. Cracks in bathroom area too.

The location of this hotel, right at the entrance of Seoraksan National Park is really nice. Friendly staff which help you very well. The room we slept in was outdated though. Some paint and new sealant edges in the bathroom are necessary and the toilet seat had one broken edge so was a bit loose.

The hotel is a stone’s throw from the entrance of Seoraksan National Park. As you drive in, the hotel is has a rather impressive presence on your right. The decor is quirkily English. …
