I stayed at the end of March this year.First of all, the location is not very convenient (it’s no problem if you drive by yourself), because the nearest bus is fifteen minutes away, so it’s impossible to drag your luggage. In addition, the wind in Gangneung at night at the end of March is so strong that I can’t feel my hands after walking for ten minutes. Moreover, there were not many people and cars on the road, and the hotel was under construction next to it, so there were no lights, so it was a bit dangerous to be alone. If you want to go back to KTX station or go to other attractions, it is more convenient to take a taxi.If you don’t have a car, it is recommended to book a tour charter from KTX. It seems to be run by the government. You can decide which attractions to choose by yourself. The driver will also help take photos. It is cheaper than taking a taxi.However, the room is very large and faces the sea, so it is great to watch the sunrise and sunset. The big bathtub in the middle of the room is great, but the water spout is very slow to fill. It takes about an hour to fill it up.The facilities in the room are all available, including water dispenser, hairdryer, multi-wire plugs, and even kitchen utensils.But check-in is inconvenient and you have to call the store. I didn't have a Korean phone number at the time, so I had to ask the owner of the cafe next door for help. This meant that if I had any problems at night during my stay, I couldn't find anyone to help.

Ocean view! You can see the sunrise and sunset of Gangneung from your room.The room's floor is white marble, and there's not a single hair. It's really clean!!!Please provide plenty of amenities and towels.It's a good value accommodation. I'll come again next time.

Newly built hotel in front of 2 other pensions (lol) so sea views are certainly guaranteed. We arrived late but was welcomed by a staff at the lift lobby - couldn't find any reception at entrance but no issue. Parking is free in front of pension. The room was huge with high ceiling, sparkling clean with white and gold trimmings. I love the round bathtub, full sized fridge and water dispenser! Certainly a hidden gem and we'll certainly rec it to anyone visiting Gangneung. Be sure to explore the Gangneung Coffee Street nearby.
