White Story

Written as a solo female traveler that stayed for 16 days at White Story.Liked · I had the smallest room for my trip of a little more than two weeks. When I arrived I met the housekeeper, she gave me a lovely tour. I saw her multiple times during my stay.The room is small but for the price it had anything I needed: a good bed, small fridge, small window for air at night and easy to use (floor)heating.The bathroom was shared and at first I was a bit taken a back about how it looked but once you get the hang of it (first you let the water flow a bit until it reaches the temperature you prefer and leave a towel on the floor near the door so you get to dry off your feet at the end) it’s pretty good!It’s less that a euro to use the washer/dryer which works perfectly! Only would have liked some sort of instruction since the buttons were in Korean and my Google translate app didn’t help me understand it as well.There is also a small kitchen with an induction plate, microwave, cold and hot water dispenser and a sink to wash your dirty dishes in.You have to recycle which they try to instruct you how to clearly. This is a normal thing to do and I love that they try to educate other travelers on this as well.Disliked · Since I stayed for more than two weeks I would have liked to be able to change the bedding. I could have done this myself without a problem if I had some spare sheets!If you choose for White Story you aren’t choosing luxury. What you get is great value for what you are paying!

The room is old and smelly. The toilet and shower is the worst. Even we keep the door opened and we bought fragrance spray to spray in the toilet is still won’t cover the moldy and pee smell.During our stay, we never seen the house keeper, everything is self-served. We also need to throw our own trash. We would like to leave here as soon as possible. It’s horrible.
