The sanitary condition of the room seemed to be problematic, but the location was great and the breakfast was good.

It's very close to Gyeongbokgung Palace and the Art Museum. Other than that, it doesn't have any advantages. The facilities are broken and have not been repaired. The items outside are in a mess. It's ugly to take pictures. The room is small and very expensive compared to the price. It takes photos so quickly. NT$5,000Be careful when you arrive, he may say that the credit card swipe on the booking website has not been accepted, and he will give you cash or swipe a card on the spot, but swiping the card will add 10%. He suspects that he is laundering the order or seeing that you did not bring enough cash and there is no place to change money, so you have to give him 10% more.

The location of the guest house is great. Price is somewhat pocket friendly for the location and breakfast is traditional Korean style food. However, the rooms are too tiny. You can barely get yourself and your suitcase inside. If you spend more than a night, there is no room cleaning service available. No towels are provided, only plenty of hand towels. No separate wet and dry area in the bathroom and not even mats to wipe your feet to enter the house or bathroom. It's ok for a one night experience in a traditional Korean style room or for people who want a backpacking experience. Other than for its very central location, I would not really recommend it.

We stayed here for 3 nights in July. It's a traditional building, and I was able to experience a part of old Korean life. The room was generally clean, but the toilet and shower were small and the floor was always wet, which was difficult for Japanese people to accept.Breakfast included was helpful. The taste was typical of Korea and I liked it.I won't say too much about the staff, but I thought they were basically kind and gentle people.

In an excellent and quiet location tucked in a small alleyway but very close to many restaurants, cafe and shops in the middle of Bukchon Hanbok Village. Very walkable area. Close 3-8minute walks to nearby bus stations and 10min walk to Anguk Metro station. Interesting way to experience living in the past (sleep on floor and use thinner mattresses) in a hundred years old plus house. If not picky, the daily morning provided breakfast is tasty. The host speaks rudimentary English but not super friendly. Rooms are very small. Can be noisy from nearby rooms if place gets busy. The common spaces need a major decluttering.

I wanted to stay at a Han family house...the location was perfect, 10 minutes from Gyeongbokgung Palace and close to Anguk Station, but there were a lot of disappointments.
