Had a great stay here a couple years ago while travelling alone. I arrived late at night, they were able to check me in and help me find some late night food. Friendly to English speaking clientele; owner's son spoke fairly well and was exceedingly kind. A very generous family runs this establishment; made me a delicious breakfast once and tea/coffee on multiple occasions. The owner's son helped me find my way around the city, understand the transit system and suggested places to visit (found some great spots that weren't on my radar with his help). The beds weren't amazing (traditional I suppose, very thin, sleep on the floor) but I didn't mind. Staying here made my experience in Seoul better, would highly recommend!

decent place. Very small room with a thin futon to sleep on--but then that is very traditional in Korea. The manager is very nice and helpful and makes a hearty breakfast every morning. A cosy cheap and nice place to stay.

It was a great first experience in staying in a traditional korean hanok. Most of the time such places are only seen in korean dramas or in the magazines. …
