The boss himself is very shy and the service is very good. My adapter couldn't be charged. He even lent me the adapter to take photos of Hanbok and store my luggage. He told us not to rush and to take our time. Although the room is an old house, it has everything you need, but Maybe it's because there are a lot of weeds and mosquitoes, so you have to go in and out quickly, but it doesn't actually affect your sleep. The room also has mosquito traps and heated floors. The sound insulation is not very good. I can sleep very late every day if I am tired, but this is the only room where insects and birds sing in the morning. He asked me to get up very early (6:30am). I just walked normally. The boss asked me to walk softly to avoid disturbing other guests. He is very concerned about the quality of the guests👍🏻The boss also gently closes the door when entering and exiting. Overall, Said it felt really good. You can walk to Gyeongbokgung Palace and there are many hanbok rental shops nearby. The location is very good👍🏻It was full on the day we went👏There is also the famous Gyochon Fried Chicken nearby which is open until 12pm so you don’t have to worry about running out of food.

It was straightforward. You get a solid Hanok-style experience. The owner was really nice. We arrived earlier than our check-in time, but he allowed us to leave our things inside the property. He asked us not to ring the doorbell if we ever arrived early because he was being considerate of the other guests. The location is right at the heart of the "Old Town"; you have Gyeongbukgong, Changdeokgong, Insadong, Gwangwhamun Square, Cheonggyecheon Stream, and it is a Hanok village area. The breakfast was filling. We got toast; the owner cooked us eggs, noodles, cereals, a variety of milk and fruit juices, and shakes. The room we had was small since it was just my sister and I. I really love the smell of hardwood. It brings back the nostalgia. We got there transition from summer to fall, so it was chilly and a bit warm at the same time. That was why it was so nice to hang out outside the small courtyard. The owners/people in charge were really nice. I'm so glad we booked here because we were looking for something different, and it exceeded our expectations and experience. And if I'm asked, I would definitely book here again.

Thank you for staying with us for 2 nights. It's a hanok that looks like something you'd see in a Korean drama, and I'm very satisfied. It's close to Yasukuni Station, and there are many cute cafes around. It is perfect as a mobile base. Someone mentioned it in a review, but I think the owner is more shy than unfriendly. They answered my questions and were kind to me.It's certainly an old building, but it was kept clean, and the ondol was so warm that I was able to sleep comfortably even on the thin Korean futon. The shower room is the same as the washroom, so it's quite small, lol. I plan to use it next time. I couldn't meet you on the way home, so I checked out without being able to thank you, but thank you very much for your help.

Experience Hanok! Very retro and very warm!I stayed in a double room on the floor. Although it was small, it was really warm! The owner is very nice and gives very detailed explanations, teaching you how to use it step by step!It was minus eight degrees Celsius that day. It was really cold, but the room had floor heating and an upper heater! You can definitely sleep in shorts and short sleeves🤣Awesome!Because we stayed in a private room, the bathroom for bathing was next to the living room. What was great was that the toilet was exclusive to us! When I was taking a shower, I didn’t realize that the toilet also had floor heating! so cool! It must be because of the weather, so it's still a little cold, but it's really great to be able to take such good care of a wooden building! It is recommended that anyone who wants to experience a Korean house must come and stay here!Taking pictures at night and in the morning is very atmospheric🥰But this time it was too cold and I arrived late so I couldn’t enjoy it properly🥹

The location isn't bad, but it's quite old. It's not as beautiful as the photo. The hosts are not very friendly and can't speak Japanese very well.If you don't have anything else, it can't be helped, but I don't really recommend it. I won't stay again.

Beautiful guest house. A Hanok from the movies, a stone's throw from the royal palace. Small and discreet, rooms furnished in a traditional and minimalist way, but with all comforts. a blast from the past, discreet and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Very comfortable futons. We chose it for our last night in Seoul, a magical night. Absolutely recommended.

Beautiful traditional accommodation, an experience not to be missed. The structure dates back to the 1960s and is made of wood. The rooms are very small but welcoming and charming. The staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent location.
