The staff are honestly ultra attentive, friendly and genuinely always willing to help. Even the gardening staff are happy to say hello and greet you with a hello and genuine eye contact. Their peaceful, gracious characters are an asset of Karma Jimbaran.

SCAM !!My husband and I was stopped on the street, the guy came up to us and my husband took the brochure he had but then the salesman didn’t stop there he stopped us from walking and continued on about how we won the prize. (The guys name was DIKA)The guy seemed genuine and kept saying ‘happy day for me and you my friend you get prize and I get bonus’. He said if we go via blue bird taxi company will pay for but we just look at the hotel quickly then claim prize and come back. We felt sorry for the guy but instantly I felt something was wrong and the vibe on how happy he was for us wasn’t right!I stopped and asked the guy where the hotel was so I could search it on Google and to my intuition all the Google reviews was a scam and exact same thing happened to them.We decided enough was enough and said firm no and left.This is such a shame, as I have been coming to Bali every year for 20 years and never had issues and I’ve always respected and cared for the Balinese people but for this hotel to get staff to do this is so wrong and DISGUSTING!!!

Booked for 4 adults and 2 kids in a four room villa only to be told a week before that they are putting us in a 3 room villa and we have to share beds. It's ridiculous considering the amount you pay and is supposed to be a five-star resort. The managers suggestion was to come a week later ! Once you become an owner, they no longer want to give you decent service or rooms..very sad. Emailed the concierge from the person who booked its account and have not been offered any resolution.

Karma Jimbaran is a beautiful, all-villa resort just across the road from Jimbaran beach. The staff is efficient and friendly, and check-in took only a few minutes.Our villa with a private pool was well-furnished and included a full kitchen. We took our meals at their restaurant , The Bay, but enjoyed having the facilities to brew a good cup of coffee. The pool was refreshing to jump into after a day out and about.The staff was just excellent! Karma people at the restaurant, in housekeeping, and others were always smiling and ready to help with any need. More than anything else, the friendliness and courtesy of the resort staff elevated our holiday experience.The resort is beautiful. Just walking through the greenery and flower beds was a delight.Jimbaran beach with its lovely white sand is across the road. The part of the beach near Karma Jimbaran is quiet, free of the seafood stalls with their accompanying smoke and crowds.We had a peaceful, enjoyable holiday at Karma Jimbaran and look forward to visiting again.

SCAM!Got stopped on a street by a person saying we won something and we have to go to their sales office. We went there and wasted 40 minutes. I didn't go inside because I found these reviews. Do not stay in these hotels. SCAM SCAM SCAMShame karma group. I will tell all my friends in Australia to not stay there. Don't give them a single dollar

Absolutely stunning villas, our family had a lovely time. Each villa has a private pool and full kitchen, multiple bathrooms and beautiful details. Cleaning staff came in twice a day and they were lovely. It felt very safe there. All the staff throughout were very kind and helpful. The only thing I would recommend is that they add more items to the breakfast buffet as it was a bit limited. Perhaps add pancakes for the kids.

They wasted our time on the road by talking to us about some scratch card prizes and telling us to go visit their hotel. We were told we won some prize and they would give us a free taxi ride to the hotel to go claim our prize, but later we were told actually we were not eligible to start with because it was only meant for Americans and a few other nationalities. Actually this was just a tool to entice people to come to their hotel to listen to lectures about their hotel membership . They pay very little to local workers to do such a job.

Scam, beware the prize givers, they are nice and friendly, but all a reason to get you into a hard sell on resort membership. The prizes are real but nearly all of them are for free accom in one of their resorts.

Although my review is not about this hotel directly it is my opinion that this hotel chain should be avoided as a whole. The ill practices of the chain should be highlighted to potential clients.We were shopping while shopping by a friendly gentleman who asked if we were interested in a card about promoting tourism in Bali. We accepted the card and realised instantly this was a mistake. The card itself appeared to be a ‘game’ to win prizes. He advised us that in order to collect the prizes we must accompany him to the hotel running the event - he was very pushy and kept telling us this would help him keep his job. We were put in a free taxi and googled the name of the hotel and immediately saw a number of similar reviews that this was a scam. We arrived at the location and were told we would need to sit through an hour long presentation to ‘win the gift’. We felt very uncomfortable and asked to leave. We declined the free taxi back to our hotel and when leaving felt accosted by the sales representative that had brought us.It’s disgraceful that theses scams are freely happening around Bali. Wasting tourists time and an overall frightening experience. It does the opposite of promoting tourism in Bali.
