It's a very beautiful and clean guesthouse that just opened this year! The manager is a very calm and friendly mood maker, so when I went there, there was a lot of interaction between the staff and guests! It's easy to make friends and is recommended for solo trips.

It was the most beautiful guesthouse I've ever stayed at! The cleanliness is maintained and I feel at ease with the care taken by the caretaker. There is a lot of interaction between guests, so if you are having trouble interacting with people in the city, you might be able to get some hints on how to solve that problem.Next is a long stay stay 👍!thank you very much!

This guesthouse opened in February 2024, and is the most beautiful of all. I have stayed at guesthouses in Japan and abroad dozens of times, and this was by far the best! !Of course you can stay for one night, but we recommend staying for a medium to long term.①DormitoryI stayed in a MIX dormitory, but I think it's more like a semi-private room than a dormitory.Surprisingly, each room has an air conditioner and dimmable light. The curtains block out light all the way to the corners, making it very comfortable.Furthermore, it's not a bunk bed, so you don't have to worry too much about your surroundings. You can also store the carrying case under your mattress.Also, the mattress was of very good quality. I suffer from back pain, and I often have a hard time even at major business hotels, but my back didn't sink and I had no problems at all. It was very helpful for my tired body after diving...There also seems to be a female dormitory and private rooms.② Inside the buildingThere is a cafe and co-working space attached, and you can play Mario Kart on the Switch, and there are also manga. The kitchen is also large. The shower room is clean, the restroom is also modern, and I feel very safe.The guest demographic ranged from people in their late 20s to people in their 50s, but most of them were calm, and we were able to spend a comfortable time while being considerate of each other.③LocationIt's a 2-3 minute walk to the downtown area, an 8 minute walk to the supermarket, a 15 minute walk to the island station, and a 15 minute walk to the nearby beach. You won't have any trouble at night, and they have a list of recommended restaurants.You can also rent bicycles, so please inquire.There are also buses from Miyakojima Airport and Shimoji Airport, so you can easily get around. The parking lot seems to be limited to 2 to 3 cars, so I think they will let you know if you check when making a reservation.④StaffEveryone is kind, very friendly, and makes you feel at ease. Also, the owner, Mayu, runs a cafe in the common space on the first floor, so if the timing is right, you can mix it up with the locals.We had a very fulfilling trip thanks to the advice we received from many people, including recommended diving spots, unexplored tour guides, the culture and climate of Miyako Island, and local restaurants that only locals go to.⑤Finally...This is truly a guest house filled with kindness. Especially the first one I wrote about, Dmitry. Although the building itself is not large, it was designed to be as comfortable as possible within the limited space.It was a kind facility where you could definitely feel the attention to detail from the owner, Mayu, and the staff.All of our guests are of good quality, so you can spend your time with peace of mind.I also fell in love with the charm of Miyakojima, so I will go there again!*Sorry for not taking any photos! ! !

It's so comfortable that I don't have any desire to stay at another hotel. Clean, spacious lobby and living room. A space where conversations between guests will naturally begin. It was great.

It's surprisingly beautiful and cute, and everything in the building is very clean. And affordable. The location is great, close to the downtown area, the sea, and the bus stop to the airport.The 1st floor is the common space, and the 2nd floor is the accommodation area, so once you go to the accommodation area, it's very nice that you can't hear people talking in the common space.The accommodation area is all carpeted and you have to take your shoes off before going up, so it was nice to be able to stay barefoot and not hear any footsteps even in the dormitory.Although it is shared, there is also a bathtub for women, so it is recommended for those who are not accustomed to guesthouses as it is somewhere between a hotel and a guesthouse.You can freely use the kitchen and living room, and it feels like you're at a friend's home, which is very stylish and relaxing.There is also a cafe attached, so during my stay I enjoyed exchanging information with other guests at the cafe and having drinks together in the living room.I have stayed in many guesthouses, but I have never seen such a comfortable guesthouse.It is such a wonderful place. I heartily recommend it.

It was used for 2 nights and 3 days.It was great to be able to relax and drink coffee while chatting with the staff and guests in the spacious common/cafe space. The staff were very friendly, the facility was clean and I had a comfortable two days there.If I come to Miyakojima next time, I will repeat.Thank you very much for your valuable experience.

A guest house that opened in February 2024.Comfortable & beautifulHighly recommended! !〇Exterior, interior, and facilities・With an eye-catching blue exterior, the interior is simply beautiful, with pink walls, navy blue ceilings, and stylish lighting! Stylish! A guest house!・For women, there is a shower room and a bathroom with a bathtub! A bath where you can fill up with hot water and stretch your legs is the best! I was grateful that I could borrow one bath towel!・I stayed in the women's dormitory, and the mattress and comforter were so fluffy that I was able to sleep soundly without worrying about the noise outside!There are electrical outlets and lights in the dormitory, as well as individual security boxes.・Is the living room a big sofa and Yogibo? It had cushions and was very relaxing.The TV was big, so I could watch video streaming sites like Netflix, and there was a Switch, so I had fun playing Mario Kart with other guests 🚗・It was also nice to be able to cook in the large and clean kitchen. At night, we drank alcohol and ate snacks in the living room or at the kitchen table.・When I went to the rooftop during the day, the pure white floor stood out against the blue sky, and at night I had fond memories of turning on the stylish lights and looking at the night sky and the scenery outside.〇CafeThe cafe on the first floor is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., closed on Tuesdays and Sundays.Guests can order at a discount of 100 yen off their bill!There seem to be a limited number of shops with espresso machines on Miyakojima, so finding a cafe with an espresso machine is valuable☕️The coffee is delicious, and the granola in the acai bowls on the menu is baked in-house and is really delicious!It's also amazing that they have a co-working space.The coworking space can be used by cafe users and hotel guests.〇People I metI would like to express my gratitude to Mayu, the owner, and Tommy, the staff, for being bright, friendly, and kind❣️Thank you very much! !I learned a lot about the sea and Miyakojima, and I thoroughly enjoyed Miyakojima! !Meeting the other guests was wonderful, and meeting each and every one of them was an unforgettable experience for me.We have lots of fun memories together, such as going to the beach, going out to eat, eating crepes and ice cream, having parties, and talking until late at night in the living room!I will definitely stay there again!Thank you for the best days✨

Thank you for staying with us for one night in the first half of September.The staff was kind and friendly, and I felt very comfortable!Yuntaku was also fun and I had very good memories on my last day in Miyako. Thank you Mayu-san & Nanami-san ♡If you would like to drink Yuntaku, just ask the staff and they may be able to drink with you!It's been a while since I've been to Miyakojima, but there are other guesthouses and shaved ice shops nearby, and I was impressed by the young people working so energetically there.I'll go visit again!

I came to Miyakojima for the first time without any plans, but I'm really glad I met MAHHO TERRACE✨It was a great solo trip because I was able to get recommendations from the guests and staff, and I was able to go swimming and drinking with them!Although I was traveling alone, I was able to stay in a private room and it was very clean and the futon was fluffy so I slept soundly ☺️I highly recommend it, as you can feel very safe even if you are a woman traveling alone.Please stop by again when you come to Miyakojima again ✨

Thank you for staying with us for 2 nights on our first trip to Miyakojima! I used the female dormitory. I could barely hear any noise from other rooms, and the futon was so fluffy that I couldn't sleep at all in unfamiliar places, but it was so comfortable that I had a great night's sleep ^^The other spaces were also spacious, so I was able to spend my time without stress ✨There is a cafe, kitchen, and a relaxing space on the first floor, and I have very fond memories of the staff and guests relaxing and having fun together🫶We were able to rent snorkel equipment and enjoy snorkeling!Thank you so much to the owner Mayu and staff Nanami! If I have a chance to go to Miyakojima again, I would like to stay there ☻

It was my second time to Miyakojima and my first time staying at a guesthouse, and I stayed there for two nights.It's so nice I really recommend it! !The inside feels like a hotel, and the cleanliness and space are amazing!I was grateful that the amenities included shampoo, lotion, face wash, makeup remover, and cotton swabs. And the bed is the best! !We were blessed with good weather, and during the day we went sightseeing on our own, and in the evening we went supping and snorkeling with the staff and other guests.In the evening, we took the snacks and drinks we bought at the convenience store and enjoyed the scenery and the starry sky on the rooftop. We talked while looking at theI got to experience a lot of the charms of Miyakojima with the people I met at Mahotera, and I fell in love with Miyako even more ♡I would like to return to Mahotera when I travel again! thank you very much! ! !

I have traveled alone many times, but this was my first time staying at a guesthouse. I stayed for 4 nights, and the staff were very bright and warm, and the hotel was clean and I was able to spend every day comfortably.I went snorkeling, had meals, and had a party with the staff and guests, and I think I was able to have experiences that would not have been possible without MAHHO TERRACE.I stayed in a quadruple room, and there was plenty of space for beds and luggage. There is a place to wash swimsuits, a co-working space, washing machines and dryers, and plenty of restaurants nearby, so I didn't have any problems.I would definitely like to stay here again when I go to Miyakojima, and I would also recommend it to my friends.

Thank you for staying with us for 3 nights from September 23rd!We had a wonderful experience in a wonderful space where GUESTs naturally gather at night.It's within walking distance from the downtown area, so you won't have any trouble finding a meal, and you can also cook inside MAHHO TERRACE.The staff are kind and definitely the best performers!I will definitely come back again!Thank you for helping me with my trip!

A wonderful Miyako Blue guest house. Thank you for taking care of both my husband and wife. I stayed here for several nights and had a great time with the staff and guests. Another good thing about the guest house is that we were able to exchange a lot of information. When I talked to the staff, they were very helpful and gave me advice on recommended restaurants and beaches. The facilities are very clean and thoughtful, and I'm beyond comfortable and impressed (*'ω' *) They have everything, including a freezer that can be shared, a coin-operated washer and dryer, and a place to wash fins and goggles. I did. Easy access to various places, nothing to say. It's a place I want to come back to!

I made a same-day reservation and stayed in the MIX dormitory for one night.The location is by taxi or city bus from the airport. When I took a taxi, I was directed to another guesthouse, so it was difficult to walk there. It's close to the downtown area, and cafes and beaches are easily accessible on foot or by bicycle, even without a car.It was just built in February of this year, so it's very beautiful. Above all, the water area is kept well-cleaned, so it's beautiful! No mold! !The ceiling of the room is high enough that you can reach out and touch your head without touching it even if you stand on the bed. There was enough width to turn over, so it was comfortable to sleep. There was a cooler for each person, so it was nice that the light didn't affect others when watching videos. Recommended for people who don't mind if there are male users nearby. Since we are in the same space, there will be some noise, but there is no problem with earplugs or earphones.There are two toilets on the first floor and two on the second floor, so you won't have to fight over them.Also, it was helpful for women to have a bathtub.There is a running water supply and laundry drying space outside where you can wash and dry your swimsuits.The owner, Mayu, created an environment that was easy to talk to, so it was easy to converse with other users! thank you very much!I was nervous about going to a guesthouse for the first time in my life, but I had a great time. However, there doesn't seem to be a place as beautiful and comfortable as this one, so I'm sure I'll become discerning and won't be able to go anywhere else.Above all, I didn't enjoy the attached cafe, so I would like to come back for revenge.
