Anyway, all the staff were very kind and warm, and it was a comfortable hotel. It's not in the city, so you'll need a car, but I think it's a great location because you can feel the nature of Ishigaki nearby. There is a beautiful beach in front of the hotel with few people, and the stars can be seen beautifully at night. At the nearby Inoue Shisa Workshop, you can feel the charm of old Okinawa, and the cafe lunch on the first floor was delicious.Other reviews said that the building was old, but the room was kept clean and I slept well.

We had such a pleasant stay and we are really grateful for their kind and thorough help throughout our stay. They were always quick to respond to any of our inquiries or requests and providing us with excellent hospitality and flexibility. The spa (Onsen) that we can book just for ourselves for 40min (for free) was amazing - there is a small balcony attached to it and we took a little break after the hot bath with some nice breeze at night. The sunset view at the beach right in front was lovely with no one else around us.Overall, it was a great stay and we feel very good about having chosen here for our Ishigaki trip!Thank you :)

Great location on the quiet side of an already slow paced Island. The restaurant is unmissable, the chef offers both local Japanese and Western dishes which are a real treat!

Very disappointing facilities.Everything in the hotel was worn and needed maintenance. In no way similar to the pictures. Couldn’t stand uprised in the shower because of the roof construction (height 1.7m). Missing a lounge (group of 5 people / 3 rooms).

Hotel was not like photos at all. Pool was tiny and there were no cushions on the chairs and it was not clean. Staff smelled like thick cigarette smoke,Although they very nice, it’s not the sort of thing that should greet you upon arriving at a rather expensive hotel. Also room has an extra random piece of furniture left inside that was turned on its side, soaps in the bathrooms were cheap. Room looked thrown together rather than thoughtfully made. Wouldn’t come back

Rooms are big, with great views, but outdated. There was a random, dirty futon in our room, cosmetics was cheap. The pool is small, there are no cushions on the outdoor furniture. There are no chairs or shade at the beach. For the price 40k ¥ per night we expected much more.

Unfortunately, this place does NOT look like the photos. It’s more rundown and infested with bugs (the hotel keeps the front door and balcony doors open even after sunset). We were bitten a bunch of times within a few hours of our stay. The beach is walking distance (none of the rooms have a nice view of the ocean fyi), but due to the proximity to mangrove trees there’s lots of bugs and other critters. In addition, the bath that you can reserve for 40 minutes at a time was gross due to the bugs that had entered through the open door. The only huge positive was the staff who were extremely kind and accommodating.Overall, too expensive (20,000 yen ~ $130) of a stay for the quality of accommodations.
