I was here for 4 days because of a research expedition so I was very busy measuring in the field but I really liked the resort, very clean, staff is very friendly and helpful and the Hibis restaurant is just great, their open grill makes sure you are fed-overfed. I really recommend paying for dinners cuz, especially for people like me that like a good feast (1h30min of all you can eat and drink) for a fair prize and the selection is really wide hmmmm I miss it already.The Beaches are also nice, many tide pools and some cool places for bouldering and one Beach is also suitable for snorkeling, many colorful fish including Nemos but only few corals. But it's very remote after a while you run out of things to do haha

Located most east coast of Okinawa, it is an adventure journey for those who like adventures. Much rural but the scenic drive really worth it. Better travel by day time instead of night. Road is narrow and windings

Went for a weekend trip with friends. We had a great time! The staff were very welcoming and took care of issues we had for the booking. They have a nice hot spring. It was my first time in one but it was a good experience. The pool was nice and clean, great for kids. They also had animals we can feed and interact with. We fed the goats milk and walked the dogs. They buffet selection for dinner and breakfast were not that appealing. We stuck to more fruits and some meats. Besides that we loved our experience, walked the short trail to the beach and went for a swim. You can see many different fish, the sand is so soft. The rooms were nice and clean. Didn’t spend much time in there besides to sleep. There are many activities to do just on the resort and we wish we could have stayed an extra day to experience everything. It was a perfect get away. Recommend this resort for those with kids!

Casual resort yet very nice. Cottage rooms are nice, clean, private. Restaurant is large, a lot of options for breakfast and dinner, yet dinner is expensive. Lunch has limited options. Spa is only a hot spring for additional charge. Store in lobby has necessities. Lots of activities for kids. The pool is great! Staff is friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful views! Casual resort yet very nice. Cottage rooms are nice, clean, private. Restaurant is large, a lot of options for breakfast and dinner, yet dinner is expensive. Lunch has limited options. Spa is only a hot spring for additional charge. Store in lobby has necessities and trinkets. Lots & lots of activities for kids! The pool is great! Private beach is nice. Staff is friendly and welcoming.

My husband and I stayed here while he was on a port call in Okinawa. The beaches were lovely, the staff was helpful and polite, and the rooms were very clean. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The gift shop was well priced for snacks and booze. We loved that Ikei island and the resort are very quiet and removed from the hustle and bustle. We especially loved that they had dogs on site that the guests could walk for fun and socialize with! The dogs had been groomed, and had food, water, dog houses, cabanas and a dog park to play in. I took off one star because we were upset that hotel guests were required to pay to use the onsen. We did not use the onsen for this reason. We also would have liked an al a carte option for the meals on site. Neither my husband or I wanted to pay 2800 yen for "all you can eat". If you have a big apetite you would enjoy it, though. We enjoyed the included breakfast. We would stay again and would recommend it to others. We would not dine there for dinner though.

Nice hotel get away with the family. They have various things to do for the kids to keep them busy. Skating, dogs you can walk, petting farm, basketball court, tennis court, swimming pool, spa, and nice beach to walk on. Behind the hotel, their is a small nice beach with a great view.

This is a place I always use when I go to Okinawa.It's difficult to get there without a rental car, but the cost-effectiveness and surrounding scenery can be said to be the best in Okinawa. Especially the staff are friendly and kind.The breakfast can't be said to be great, but it's acceptable.Lastly, although the sea water bath is paid, it can be said to be very satisfactory in terms of water quality and effectiveness.I usually don't write reviews, but I really wanted to write about AJ Resort.

We used the cottage.The environment around the building is wonderful.It's good that the room is spacious, but the equipment is old and the performance is low. It's hard to use one air conditioner in a room that is nearly 30 tatami mats in size. It was roaring and it was so noisy. If you are using an outdoor water heater, the hot water will not come out unless you turn it on.The restaurant is a barbecue facility in Betsuhigashi. The ingredients are buffet-style, and you can grill as much meat, fish, and vegetables as you like. However, the quality is C grade.I think this is a very good hotel if you are traveling as a family with children.May 2024

Although it's not cheap at just over 90,000 yen for a two-night plan without dinner for a family of four, there were a number of disappointing aspects.There were a lot of crickets, a lot of insects, and large green insects in the room. The curtains had metal fittings coming off in several places, and the locks seemed to be broken.There are almost no people at the front desk, and when you check out, thank you, eh? That kind of curtness.Wifi didn't connect at all.Being able to go directly to the sea in a swimsuit and having a pool was very helpful for families with small children.Although the view was very nice, I felt that the service could have been a little better.The service and customer service at the budget hotel I stayed at the previous day was so good that I felt that the previous hotel was better for this price.

It was reasonably priced even though it was Obon. The room was a corner room on the third floor. In the reviews, it is said that the view is the best, and when I was actually there, it was exactly the best view. You can have a good time in the quiet environment. The rooms have been renovated and look good. The hot spring bath was also very pleasant. We had breakfast and pork shabu, and it was a good meal in a beautiful scenery. However, there are no restaurants nearby for dinner, so the only option is the hotel's Yakiniku buffet, so if you haven't made a reservation, you'll need to buy it in advance.

A thick chloride spring near the coast. Although it was fed directly from the source, it was high in salt and I didn't like it.The quality of the spring water is similar to that of Sarujin no Yu in Sashiki Town.It is a single-family inn on the edge of the island, isolated from the villages of Okinawa's remote islands, but it can be reached by car. It has a less resort feel than the East China Sea side, but it does have a feeling of being at the end of the world. There are underwater roads along the way, making it a good drive.The area other than the hot springs is unused.

This was my first visit as a family. Everything was clean and there were plenty of pools and restaurant facilities. Table tennis, darts, and street piano were free. The table tennis racket and ball were worn out. The dinner and breakfast buffet had a wide variety and was delicious. The outdoor wooden swing is a great place for children to enjoy and take great photos. I went for a morning walk to the beach, which was about a 5-minute walk away, and it was beautiful with fine sand. I'm glad I stayed because I felt like I was on a remote island and could see the Milky Way!
