I stayed here with my children during Golden Week as a base for visiting Churaumi Aquarium.Although I felt there was room for improvement in terms of service, overall, contrary to the appearance and name of the facility, I had a really relaxing time. The location was in the northwestern part of the main island of Okinawa, less than 10 minutes by car from Churaumi Aquarium, making it the perfect location for the main purpose of our trip. On the other hand, it takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours by car from Naha Airport. It is best to choose your flight departing from Naha carefully, taking into account factors such as rental car return time, transfer to the airport, and check-in time. If you followed the navigation guide, there wasn't anything particularly easy to make a mistake. There are parking areas around the driveway and behind it.When you enter the atrium lobby, you will find a reception desk. The lobby is large with an atrium, and there is only a small shop inside, so it's really quiet, and the receptionist's conversation can be heard echoing through the entrance. To be honest, the building looks a little old. The elevator, the guest room door, its key, the fittings in the guest room, and the unit bath all have the impression of being a long time ago. There is no loss in usability, so there is no problem with a comfortable stay, but you may feel a gap between the furniture and the scenery you can see from the window. This time, we used a Japanese-Western style room that can accommodate up to 7 people. Considering the number of guests, I could have stayed in a twin room, but the difference in price wasn't that big, so I chose a room with tatami mats and a space to relax. This was the correct answer, and the children were spending their time lounging around in the tatami area. The bed is a soft spring mattress with a sinking type. I felt like I wanted something with a little bit of space between the pillows, one thin and one soft with volume. There are a unit bath in the guest room and a large communal bath. The unit bath in the guest room was quite standard, but it gave the impression that it was large. Also, the washroom, which also serves as a dressing room, is separate, so I felt it was relatively practical. The public bath is a rather large bath with 7 to 8 pots. There are no particularly noticeable features, but you can stretch your legs and slowly enter.Dinner and breakfast are served at the restaurant. I stayed for two nights this time, and each time the offerings were different depending on the day. The dinner buffet had a sufficient number of items, but there weren't many items for children, so I had a hard time finding something to feed them. Also, for the course dinner, the pace of food delivery was uneven, and I thought nothing would come out for a while after it started, but then tempura, shabu-shabu, and sashimi came out all at once, which was a bit of a surprise. Children especially eat at a slow pace, so they end up running out of shabu-shabu fuel halfway through the meal. Although we received refills of fuel, we would like you to adjust the pace of provision according to the pace of the customer's meal. I was a little annoyed when they offered me dessert (ice cream) when my child was only halfway through his meal. All breakfasts were buffet-style, but my child really liked the demonstration of cooking eggs, and had him make an omelet several times. There were even fewer items than dinner, but since it was also breakfast, I didn't really care. There were few free drink options for both dinner and breakfast. The same goes for children. The location is perfect, and I have no complaints about the rooms and other facilities, so I think I would be even more satisfied if the restaurant's offerings and service improved. However, the price is quite reasonable, so I don't think it's too much of a stretch.
