It’s a totally allright room and you get what you pay for. But for me the smell of cigarettes was just too strong. Unbearable to some extent. Anyways, really cheap and relatively easy to get around to the bigger parts of Osaka. All in all okay, but if I were the owner I would do something to reduce the scent of cigarettes as it was really strong.

I stayed there on a Friday and the price was about 2,200 yen, but it was a private room with an air conditioner and a TV, and most importantly, a refrigerator in each room, which is great for a hotel in this price range. However, there are no tissues. The downside is that there are no outlets in the room, so it's difficult to charge your smartphone. I moved the refrigerator and managed to get power from the outlet in the back. The smell in the room bothered me the moment I entered, but I eventually got used to it.The price is cheap, so it's recommended if you just want to sleep. However, soundproofing is poor. The mattress is also thin. The toilet seems to have been renovated and has a clean washlet. Also, for some reason, the light switch in the room was a high-quality metallic one.

The smoking room smells strongly of cigarettes.Even after I got home after 4 nights, the smell of cigarettes was still in my bag.I stayed in a non-smoking room, but there was a distinct smell. It was 2200 yen for a smoking room and 2500 yen for a non-smoking room, but both are a little strange.

The price is 3,000 yen per night, which is a little expensive for a hotel of this type in Nishinari. Maybe it's because the room has been renovated and has a slightly smaller public bath. Of course, it is equipped with a TV, air conditioner, and Wi-Fi environment, which is all you need for sleeping. There was no curfew, and I was able to get up early.

I stayed at Hotel Aiwa for a week and it was a very pleasant experience. What impressed me most was the friendliness and hospitality of the staff. They were always happy to help and smile, which made me feel at home.Although the hotel does not offer breakfast or room service, I did not find it a problem. Instead, I found a very convenient and affordable laundromat, which was a big plus after a week of traveling. The location of the hotel is also very good, close to everything I needed. The room was comfortable and clean, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. You can add 3 hours to the checkout for only 300 yen, that also helped me a lot so I didn't have to leave so early, other places don't offer this.
