I stayed at Kabira Village for 3 nights in October, and the rooms were large, close to the beach, and close to the parking lot, so I was able to feel like I was at home.Each room is independent, so it is very quiet. The downside is that since it is nature, there are a lot of bugs (ants) and the mosquito nets have holes in them, so it is difficult to stay with the windows open. In particular, there is a private bathtub on the terrace, but it is a picture cake that cannot be used in the evening because bugs often fall into it.The hotel beach has no waves, so it's perfect for snorkeling and water play, and overall, there are no complaints about the location itself. However, if there are no convenience stores or supermarkets in the surrounding villages, it would be nice to have their own convenience store, but it can be inconvenient because you have to make a 40-minute round trip by car to buy even a single milk. .Overall, the meals were ordinary with no special features, and since the only dinner was a buffet, there was no choice, so there was a large refrigerator in the room, so it was a condo-style hotel.

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights. We rented a beach villa which was comfortable and big with a nice terrace and hot tub. We went there out of the season and therefore couldn’t really get everything we wanted. The bar was only open 2 days from 4, the BBQ also only happened twice during our stay and they didn’t offer any Yoga at that time. The restaurant is not really recommended, the food wasn’t as good as I usually know it from Japan, lots of fast food and fried things.The best thing though of the hotel and our stay is of course the beautiful beach. Lots of water activities can be booked. It’s a bit expensive, so better to bring your own snorkeling set.

Amazing views in the sea view rooms. Service at the front desk was also great, answered any of our questions and needs. One point is that there are not very many food options for dinner as the hotel restaurant only offers buffet for expensive price so you have to go into town which restaurants are also limited. Also if you do not have a rental car it would be hard to go around the hotel area

Seaside Hotel in IshigakiThe resort is on Ishigaki Island, about a 2-hour flight south of Fukuoka. The small island belongs to the Okinawa Region, with an area of just over 200km2 with a population of about 50,000 people.The resort is about 20km from the center, if you want to get to the center you have to take a taxi - about 4500-5000 yen, there is a bus but few trips. The hotel has a private beach and moderate fun beach activities such as scuba diving, water motorbikes, and banana boats. 2km from the resort, there is a fish viewing area by boat.There are not too many entertainment activities, but with the criteria of relaxation and light entertainment, this is a very reasonable vacation spot.Suitable for couples who like privacy and families to relax

The hotel is outside. The village and restaurants are around 2 km away.The hotel is a bit dated. Bar and bistro weren't open until 6pm (but should be open from 12pm). The sun loungers on the beach are uncomfortable and have no mattress. There is a fee for beach towels. The employees barely understand English.The main reason for the poor rating is inflexibility. We originally booked two nights (non-cancellable), but due to a flight cancellation we couldn't go on the first night. We didn't expect a refund but asked for it anyway. Unfortunately not possible. We then asked about a free breakfast (small compensation), but this was also refused. At a price of €200 per night/room I find this very outrageous. So we paid for one night for free and received no accommodation from the hotel.At the end, the credit card was charged JPY 20,000 too much (typo). However, the staff didn't notice it. The subsequent correction was made immediately.Apart from the above behavior, the stay was ok.Conclusion: Expensive, outdated hotel with little service mentality. Not even remotely worth the price. Dealing with employees (front desk) is difficult if you don't speak Japanese.

If you are looking for unbeatable views at affordable rates and large rooms (which you don’t come by very often in Japan), look no further thanIf you want luxury, modern facilities then this isn’t for you.The hotel is quite old and it certainly feels so when you’re there. The music and ambience are very slow and feels like you’ve been transported a decade back but in a good way. The staff are extremely helpful and all speak English.Do note that this is far away from Ishigaki centre. It takes nearly an hour by bus from the airport. If you have your own vehicle, then you have nothing to worry about. Otherwise, you’ll have to buy your supplies or food from far away. Especially because the food here is nothing noteworthy. There are a few small eateries like le dodo which is very nice.This hotel also forms a good base for all your water sport activities.But I want to say this again. The view, especially considering that it is affordable, is unbeatable.

I stayed here for 3 nights starting September 1st. Although it is far from the city, there is no problem if you rent a car. We had fun playing at the hotel pool and beach.The staff were all smiling and very friendly, and it was a very comfortable hotel life.I will be staying again for 3 nights from September 16th. I think it's a good deal to book from the hotel's official website as you get a welcome drink and various benefits.

I used it on my first trip to Ishigaki Island.All the rooms had the best ocean view.The inside of the building was clean and quiet, and we didn't have to wait long for the elevators, so we had a comfortable stay.The buffet was also very delicious, and the environment of the pool and sea in front of us was also very good.I would definitely like to use it again.

Used by family during summer vacation in 2024.About 30 minutes by car from downtown Ishigaki. Located in Kabira district. There are only fields and the sea in the surrounding area. The road leading to the hotel entrance is narrow, so if you're running around aimlessly, you might end up passing it lolThat's another good thing.It's not a huge hotel, so it's right from the parking lot to the main hotel building.Some resort hotels in Okinawa require you to take a shuttle bus from the parking lot to the hotel, but it's great that you don't have to waste time like that.The beach is also just a stone's throw away. You can come and go in your swimsuit from your room. The beach is well-maintained and has reclining chairs and umbrellas.There is a beach house, and reception for banana boats, SUP, etc. will be done there. This is also because the hotel is not that big and there are not many customers, so you can just walk in without making a reservation in advance. Needless to say, the sea is beautiful.In terms of equipment, the laundromat lends out clothespins, drying ropes, and clippers, which come in handy when you want to hang your swimsuits to dry on the balcony.There is a large public bath, but the drawback is that there are not many lockers. There is a water server at the entrance, so you can reach exactly where you need it.As mentioned in other reviews, Hawaiian BGM is playing inside the hotel for some reason. Since this is Okinawa, I want Okinawan BGM.Breakfast is a buffet, but it's a typical hotel breakfast.During my stay, G appeared, probably because my room was on the first floor. It happens occasionally at home, so I've been able to deal with it without any difficulty, but some people may panic. However, this is Ishigaki Island, a subtropical island rich in nature. Right there is a jungle like a tropical rainforest. It's not a first-class hotel in Tokyo, and people who get all gawked at the word "G" shouldn't come to the island.

This hotel is located on the northwest side of the island, facing Sukuji Beach, 30 minutes by car from the city center.Although it is a small and old building, it is very well maintained.The staff's response is also very good.The room is spacious with an ocean view, and the semi-double bed is comfortable.You can see the sunset over the sea from your room.The bath in the room is of the type with a washing area and the hot water is quite strong.However, I was really grateful for the large public bath, which allowed my family to bathe at the same time and save time.There is a coin laundromat, but the dryer doesn't run very long, so be sure to bring your laundry ready to dry.Scheduled to repeat
