Customers are given bedsheets and are told to make their own beds. Maybe this is common in some places but I've never had to make my own bed when i'm paying good money for a nights sleep, even at much cheaper places. And after a long day it was a rather annoying surprise. Other people staying there who i asked said they felt the same way. On the bright side, at least you know you're getting clean sheets.Overall this was a decent place to stay that did all the basics fine. But it was my least favourite of the 4 different hostels I've stayed at in Osaka. The location is north of the Yodo river making it quite far out from the main stuff in central Osaka. The guy running the place was very formal and didn't offer a particularly warm welcome. At $18 for a night it was not expensive, but other places i stayed were cheaper, more enjoyable and in better locations. The Tomato theme was definitely interesting and is something i wont forget so that could be a positive depending on if you like tomatoes.

What I'm looking for in a lodging is a low price, so I did some research and chose this one because it was the cheapest. I'm currently heading to Hakata by Shinkansen, which costs 16,000 yen for 3 nights, while Osaka costs 19,000 yen for 4 nights. Lowest price no matter how many times I searched. I'm a cheap hotel fanatic because I've stayed in a lot of cheap hotels, but now that I'm older, I've decided to set up a women-only floor. Safety is more important than anything else.It is absolutely impossible to have a floor that is gender-neutral.However, sharing a toilet and bath like here is a compromise when it is cheap. Men are more likely to violate manners than men, and this time as well, two young men were standing in the bathroom talking for a long time extending into the hallway, so I gave up because I couldn't brush my teeth. Confused. The more parts you share, the more things you don't like. If I were rich, I would always buy an apartment. This is a one-off surgery, and I think it's because of people like this that there are so many posters. And it's the same content. The explanation on the paper you are given at the beginning is at a basic level. I'm worried if I can't follow this, but I guess that's why they are posted so often.Next is cleanliness. I don't usually use the bath at the hotel, but during my 4-night stay, I used the shower twice. Cleans well and is comfortable to use. Also, I don't use slippers because it's dangerous because there is a steep staircase up to the third floor. Even if you walk around barefoot on a dust-free floor, the soles of your feet will not turn black and you will not get injured.I wouldn't use the kitchen if it was unsanitary, but the seasonings were on time and it was well organized, so I cooked for myself. The floors and beds are quite creaky, and I am especially concerned about the durability of the beds. Hey, there's also Nankai Traft lol. You may want to consider it once you have the budget. The room doesn't feel small unless it's full of four people. There's plenty of room for two people, and although it's a little cramped for three people, it's just about tolerable. Unless it's just big women. Both the shared and private rooms have air conditioners and are cool, but the hallways and toilets are not bathing, so if you're worried about heat shock, it's a good idea to bring something to wear since it's a detached house without floor heating. If you like retro Showa-era detached houses, this is a good place to stay. The owner of the inn seems to be a hard worker after spending four nights there. As mentioned in the reviews, the first time I met him, he was unfriendly and gave me a fast-talking explanation on paper, but I was exhausted after getting lost and carrying a large bag in both hands, and was walking with a maximum alert for heatstroke. I was already feeling lightheaded and didn't want to be so reckless with my smiles and friendliness, so I went with both of them. As for the price, I'd be fine with an app or paper, but even though he's working harder than I expected and is very busy, he's a nice person and will help me right away if I need anything.

I started traveling alone on a bicycle. While looking for a cheap place to stay alone, I came across this guesthouse by chance and visited it. As the name suggests, it was Tomato Guesthouse.I guess the boss likes tomatoes a lot.It was fun and interestingThere are quite a few photo spots all over the place. The interior is such that you could call it a cafe rather than a guesthouse.Basically, the owner was friendly and even though I am not good at foreign languages, he treated me kindly.I want to visit again next time

We chose this hostel because it was the cheapest option. For the very good price, the hostel was a dream. Everything is very clean, the beds are a bit hard but you have a lot of privacy in the dorms thanks to the curtains. The operator was super friendly, gave us tips, was interested in our activities and helped us if we needed help. Because it was a very small hostel, it was very quiet and familiar, and you can easily get to the city center by metro.

15 bucks was pretty good and met some pretty cool foreigners like me. It also has a more traditional Japanese washroom, which I happen to love. I felt as though I was treated a little bit coldly.

The southern part of Nishinakajima is a convenient location with access to both the Midosuji Line and the Hankyu Kyoto Line. I know this very well as I spent my student days in Osaka.I used it this time because my destination was on the right bank of the Yodogawa River for personal work. I use a private room instead of a dormitory because I use my computer until late at night.Even though I wasn't there for sightseeing, I was reminded of my youth when I saw the flickering city lights of Osaka from the other side.Next time, I'd like to hear about the reason for the love for tomatoes that overflows within the facility.

Within 10 minutes walk from Nishinakajima Minamikata Station. The owner seems unfriendly at first glance, but is kind when you talk to him. Although there are many rules, the cleaning was done properly and I felt that they were attentive to the amenities. The building shakes as the train passes by. One towel is free. Bicycle rental available. It would be even better if there was a fan.

We sleep badly, mattress not comfortable at all, it's hot, difficult to access for those with big bags or suitcases, check out is at 11 a.m. but the manager had the sumptuous idea of cleaning the bathroom before 11 a.m. so we can't use it 🤡🤡🤡 (2 bathrooms for 2 floors is complicated) add a few more ¥ and go spend a better night in another hotel or hostel that's my advice.
