THIS IS SPARTAAA! Concrete floors, bare bulbs, and open ductwork never looked so classy. I especially liked the stuffed orangutan in the corner.I have a strange aesthetic: of course I love staying someplace like the Grand Hyatt in Bali, but sometimes all I require is a bed, a bath, and an alarm clock. This place filled the bill admirably: it is the nicest bare-bones accommodation I have ever stayed at In Japan. I would say it was dirt-cheap, except it was so clean.Curtains or blinds on the windows would have been nice. The light from the building next door filtered in through the window. Not that it affected my sleep much. i was out cold in no time.If I am ever in the area again and need a cheap place to crash, I will stay here again, and if I ever decide to be a stoic or a monk for a week or so, I know where to go.
