The location of the hotel was perfect: very close to subway where you can go everywhere including station and airport. The rooms were small but very clean and functional, especially the bathroom. …

Beware that they nickle and dime you for everything. Check out is 10pm instead of 11am. But for 1000¥ you can extend. We checked in at 1:47 but got charged for an extra 2 hours.  …

I recently stayed at APA Hotel for three nights (15th-18th), and my experience was unfortunately marred by poor service. I was celebrating my birthday and had invited friends to lunch before they headed to the airport. I requested that the hotel simply store our luggage for a few hours while we enjoyed our meal. However, the front desk staff, who seemed to have limited English proficiency, was extremely rude and unhelpful. His demeanor was aggressive and dismissive, also trying to fight us ( like moving towards us with fighting attitude) and I stopped Him by saying “not on my birthday” and that making the situation even more frustrating. It's surprising that someone with such poor customer service skills would be in a front-facing role. This interaction significantly detracted from what should have been a pleasant experience.(P.S. I did request to talk to the manager that the guy insisted that he’s the manager which from my hospitality experience, I can tell straight away, He was not and not even close to be one)

Very convenient location. Lawson literally 15 min from the entrance and by tons of food. Dotonbori is also super close. Only downside is that the hotel has outdoor hallways to get to your room so it can get hot or cold depending on the weather. Small rooms as expected but enough space to sleep. There are a selection of movies and TV shows, even adult ones... Downstairs has a decent breakfast

Overall location is good. There are APA hotels in better locations in this area. Rooms are smaller than newer APA locations as this is an older location. Room is slightly weathered compared to other locations as well, but priced affordable. Overall, a good stay on a budget.

We had booked two rooms(two people per room) and one was spacious, but the other one was the exact opposite(very small). You need to remember to put up a ‘make up the room’ sign every morning just to get the usual cleaning service, but is very good, being an eco-friendly hotel(they also have recycling bins in the room👍). If you bother to pay for the breakfast buffet and don’t forget to take the ticket down with you, then you can enjoy a delicious mix of Japanese, Chinese and Western food(according to the sign) open from 7 to 10am(last opening 9:30). The location was about five-to-six-minutes walk from Namba Station(about three-to-four-minutes walk from Nippombashi Station), with a Lawson just downstairs of the hotel. And if you go down any of the narrow streets you can easily find street food vendors near the market or restaurants that you can eat at and be able to quickly reach the hotel again.

Avoid! Not a great experience. The location was okay, but overall, I wouldn't recommend this place.Stayed here for four days:Cleanliness: I found a bug crawling on my neck. Thankfully, it wasn't a bed bug, but still gross.Wifi: The wifi barely worked, especially in my room at the end of the corridor. Super slow and frustrating to use.Laundry: Only two washing machines and dryers in the whole place, and one was broken. Made doing laundry a hassle.Vending Machines: The vending machines were out of 100 yen and 500 yen coins, giving out only 50 yen coins. Bought water with a 1000 yen note and got 16x 50 yen coins in change. Super inconvenient.Room Size: As expected, the room was tiny, even for Japan.

The rooms were pretty standard. Has everything you need for a short stay. Be warned, the ac during the winter is set to heat only, so if it’s a little warm, you can’t turn on cold. Luckily it was cold outside and I opened the window. The staff are very accommodating and efficient in the lobby. I only stayed a night so I can’t comment on the other services. I feel the location is perfect as well. 8 minute walk north or south to the tourist madness. This is right in the center and quiet. It has food spots around and a konbini right outside

Super close to Namba Station, we were able to easily do it after a long flight with a two year old and a five year old. The manager gifted the kids a little gift bag with a toothbrush and slippers which they absolutely loved. The room was clean and serene. 100 percent would return.

Affordable and Good place to stay for 1-2 nights . Rooms are tiny but clean .Nice location close to Namba station and the shopping area . Surrounded by many restaurants and cafes .Worst part was that i didn’t get informed that check out should be at 10:00 A.M since it was my first day in japan . And even though within less than 20 minutes i was in Lobby but it cost me extra 1000 Yen to pay for the 20 minutes delay .
