Good space, clean, with a washing machine, and a techy bathroom that has a shower room with a lot of functionality, such as drying clothes. All the buttons are in Japanese, so we had to use Google Translate/Google Lens to find the right button. Newly washed clothes were completely dry within 8 hours. The location was good, with many restaurants and shops around, and it was easy to get a taxi.

💥💥WARNING💥💥TAKUTO HOTEL RECEPTION STAFF ARE THIEVES!! Thankyou to the reception staff who have fraudulently been using our credit card a week after we left staying at the hotel, they have been ordering various items online from Amazon & just ordered Uber Eats to be delivered to the actual hotel. You’re not the smartest humans doing that 🤔Also Reception staff were extremely rude on the reception desk. Clearly they don’t like their job or have any respect for their guests staying there.Also wiped the floor with a wet wipe & it came up black, not sure when they cleaned the appartments floors last but clearly not in between guest visits.Will never stay here again!

The hotel rooms are nice and spacious but the service is lacking. We booked this hotel because it had a laundry machine but the clothes dryer and bathroom fan were broken and despite offering to help us dry our clothes, when we went to collect them from reception the next morning they were still wet! Also the smell of cigarette smoke in the ground floor lobby while you wait for the elevator (there's only one elevator) is very strong and disgusting because it's next to the smoking room. But the location is convenient for Dotonburi so I can't complain too much. Just don't expect typical hotel services, it's more like an apartment-hotel

Takuto hotel is fine, singularly notable for the traveller/family friendly rooms: very large for Japan, with two double-beds (4*singles, paired up to make more efficient use of space - Japan!), and decent kitchen facilities and washing machine in the apartment. Note that there is no drying machine, rather the shower/bath can be turned into one big drying room (see photo). No idea how you're supposed to hang your clothes though, I didn't see a drying rack. Unfortunately the hotel charges for storing luggage. It's 10m away from the Shinsaibashi-Suji shopping street, which you can use for undercover access to the subway (400m walk).

Spacious and clean room, provided great bathroom amenities including one small laundry detergent to use with the in-room laundry machine. The beds were two twins pushed together which made for a comfortable night sleep. The air-con was strong. The only gripe is the toilet room is very stuffy and the fan was not very strong.

Room is nice and big with Japanese shower/bath, small kitchen, toaster oven, microwave and refrigerator. The room we had was two very large beds which was fine for our family of four.Check out is very early and sadly the chairs had stains on them. TV worked fine but its extra to get DVD player, store luggage or checkout after 10am.Don't forget to turn the hot water.

Great spot for family group, two adjoining rooms with 4 good size single beds each. Beds hard and pillows firm but ok. Bathroom good with separate shower and gas hot water heater. Mini kitchen good for Shokupan toast! Location excellent for shopping, 15 min walk to Dotonburi, 8 to Daimaru. Not far to train station although if you have a lot of bags might be too far, we used transport to KIX bc of snowboard bags. Helpful staff supplied extra chargers and laundry detergent.

Our five-day stay at Takuto Hotel Shinsaibashi in July 2023 was an exceptional experience. Traveling as a group of five, we found the hotel perfectly suited our needs, especially with the convenience of adjoining rooms.The amenities provided by the hotel went above and beyond our expectations. The balconies were a beautiful touch, offering a serene spot to relax. The large beds ensured a comfortable night’s sleep, while the small kitchen area was incredibly useful for quick meals and snacks. The in-room facility to wash our clothes was an added bonus that greatly added to the comfort of our stay.One of the highlights of Takuto Hotel Shinsaibashi was its location. Being in close proximity to a huge shopping mall was a dream come true for us. The hotel’s location, a mere three minutes away from a variety of excellent food places, vending machines, a large Book-Off, Daiso, and numerous other stores, made our stay both convenient and enjoyable.The reception staff at the hotel deserve special recognition for their exceptional service. They were incredibly accommodating and respectful, always greeting us with a bow whenever we passed through the reception. This level of courtesy and attention to detail made us feel valued and respected as guests, adding to the warmth of our overall experience.The convenience and quality of our stay have left a lasting impression. So much so, that I have already booked another stay for 2024. The anticipation of revisiting Takuto Hotel Shinsaibashi is a testament to the wonderful experience we had.
