Great place to stay. Located right between Dotonbori & Shin Sekai, and the area itself is really nice and calm compared to the two mentioned areas, with really cute alleyway shops nearby. Clean, good air conditioning. Close to train station. It’s an annex to a main hotel so you check in via QR code and someone live on video. There’s breakfast at the main hotel; but we didn’t try it so can’t speak to it.

My first time travelling overseas.....and when searching for accommodation, this was one of the first to show.So happy to have stayed.Right close to Namba station.....so not much of a walk to get here.Check-in was a little tricky......only because I speak no Japanese......the staff who helped me check-in were so friendly, nice and patient hahaLocation is awesome........walk everywhere and there is so so much to see and do.Weather was pretty hot and humid......so make sure to crank the air-conditioning up.TV is a projector on the wall......pretty cool.....it was obviously in Japanese and Korean......so didn't know what to look at.....but I didn't come here to watch TV lolBreakfast is at Hotel S-Presso Central between 7 - 9.30......a short walk.....a good assortment of food, and the staff are very friendly. All up......the 8 days I spent here were so good......highly recommended.PS - There's convenience stores scattered all around.....so if your only after a quick drink (alcoholic or not) and a snack.....have a crack and its all good.

I recently checked into the Hotel S-Presso South Osaka and had a less-than-satisfactory experience. The check-in procedure was questionable, relying on a webcam at the front desk with no in-person staff. Towels and amenities are self-service, requiring guests to bring down used items for replacements. Unfortunately, the bedding and towels felt thin and cheap, adding to the overall discomfort. Moreover, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. Despite the hotel's claim of cleaning every 3rd day for stays of 3 days or more, we discovered hair in and on the bed, as well as dust on the tables, prior to arrival. The draft coming from the balcony door was particularly bothersome, as it failed to seal shut completely. If you find yourself constrained by budget, this hotel may suffice, but I strongly advise against wasting your time and money otherwise. There are likely better options available for a more pleasant stay.

The good: Decent location, within walking distance central Osaka. Easy check-in facilities (an Alexa hanging in a small bird cage above the reception desk... pretty surreal but worked well). Entry provided by a key code. …

It was cheap but they didn't clean the room when they said they would. The check in process was so confusing and difficult because it's via a web cam not in person and the staff was not very good at directingThe lighting in the room is absolutely awful-you can't do your makeup anywhere. The shower was complicated to use and the hot water wasn't reliable. Last thing, I didn't mind having to take care of my own towels (they have a place to throw away your old towels and to pick up new ones) but we were completely unaware upon booking that this was expected of us. Overall, I would not recommend it. Even for this price, it's still not worth it

A very small boutique style hotel. Very nice interiors and stylish rooms with standing showers rather than a tiny bath. I prefer this.I have would given it 5 stars but the check-in process is a little weird. n.b. the front door is locked 24x7. Interesting area if you want to see some of the real down-to-earth Japan. A fair walk from Namba station. Lively area near the station which gets a bit darker towards this hotel which almost seems a bit of an anomaly in the area.

Am here for about 7days, Family Mart and Lawson around the area, nice crépe shop around the corner. A supermarket is a stone throw away. 😁 The location was pretty convenient, about less than 10mins walk from Namba Station. For my booking, Airport Transfer was included under HeyCars from airport to the hotel (Driver will check your arrival flight number & contact you via Whatsapp and update us on where to pick us up, journey was around 45mins) Heading towards the airport via Namba Nankai Line was very convenient and it takes about 50mins -1hr to arrive at the airport (depending the time of the day too) Check in was quite smooth especially when you follow the instructions from the email sent by the hotel. Upon arrival, need to press passcode sent by hotel to enter. You will be required to key in these passcode everytime you return too, so it’s pretty safe. For check in- No staff at the counter however once you enter - a staff will be able to see you via a camera from another hotel property nearby & will assist via “voice” at the counter. Fill up a form via QR code available at the counter and you are good to check in. Pretty seamless! 👍🏼 They are 3 adults, 2 rooms (both have 2 single bed each) and kitchen available. We are vegetarian therefore with the kitchen facilities, light cooking is great with the plates/ bowls/utensils available. A good size fridge and microwave available. Washing machine available (we didn’t utilise them) Seperate toilet and shower area. Cleaners were arranged on our 2nd and 5th day stay. Will come over between 10am to 4pm, very efficient cleaning.Disliked · During the evening, If you leave the windows open a little from the first room on the right. There’s cooking smell from a nearby restaurant. But not too much of an issue as i brought my sanitizer spray along. 😅

Comfortable, nice and clean., but not a real hotel. I’d say it combines all the negatives of an air bnb with those of an hotel.
