I will write my impressions from the perspective of a bicycle camper.Overall, the campsite was clean and comfortable.Since there is a limit to what you can carry on a bicycle, it was helpful to have a vending machine and detergent for washing dishes. Even if the weather suddenly changes, you can evacuate to the multipurpose hall near the reception! They don't sell ingredients, so you'll have to buy them at a nearby supermarket, but depending on how you answer the questionnaire you get at check-in, they may sell them eventually. The only thing that bothers me is that because it's so close to the ocean, the wind is so strong that it's a little difficult to pitch a tent. If you live in a place with a lot of trees, there may be a lot of insects depending on the season. Please be careful if you are concerned. You can go to the nearest bus stop (Hobe no Mori Iriguchi) from Tahara Station, or you can use the cycle train on the Toyohashi Railway, so this is a recommended campsite for walking or cycling!

This is a very spacious campground with free sites. Although auto camping is not possible, there are carts available for rent, and there are no hills or steps, so moving the cart around was not a problem.Although it was used in midsummer, there were no other users due to the weather. However, I am grateful to the staff who took care of my problem without making me look uncomfortable. When I was at a loss as to where to pitch my tent, I was able to find a cool place, and I was very grateful. The toilets and kitchen were clean, and there wasn't any trash on the site, probably thanks to the staff patrolling the site. There aren't many places where you can see the ocean, but it was nice to be able to walk down to the beach in about 10 minutes from the campsite. There are roadside stations and supermarkets near the campsite, so it's easy to buy things.I would like to visit again in autumn or winter.

I always use the coin shower! thank you. However, the door is always left open at night and a large number of crickets and other insects gather inside, making it difficult to use.I want you to at least close the door.

The central lawn area is large and feels nice. In addition, there are sites with ocean views and sites in the forest. I think the site in the back will be quieter. Since it was a weekday, the site was empty and we could pitch our tents anywhere. However, the site with a sea view seemed to be popular and was full. It's a small site that can only accommodate two tents, so if you want to choose that site, you'll need to check in at number 1. The toilets and shower rooms are clean and easy to use, but they are only in one place, so if you use the site in the back, it's a little far away. Since it is not an auto site, you will need to carry your luggage in a cart, so it is better to carry less luggage. Since it is close to the sea, you need to be careful about strong winds.

It seemed to be raining until around 3:00 am on the day of the camp, but perhaps because the water was well drained, the grass itself was not wet and it was comfortable to set up the tent. There was a group of young people who weren't following some rules, but other than that it was comfortable.
