It was an old ryokan, but it had a homely atmosphere that was nice. When it came to cooking, I added one or two things to my "don't be stingy" menu, and I was surprised to find that there were more delicious dishes than I had expected. The breakfast was home-cooked and good. (We had a luxurious night, so that amount was just right.)However, the fact that I was still getting ready even after the start time was a bit of a deductible. There are indoor and outdoor natural hot spring baths, and the one I bathed in was clean. By the way, some people take long baths, so they keep the water a little lukewarm.Afterwards, I'll pick you up on the way back. I was very grateful that the staff at the store asked me this.By the way, the people at the inn were generally kind people (I think anyone who could have a normal conversation would have been able to do so...)I would like to come again. (Actually, I came here a long time ago. At that time, there was more than I could eat...)[Added on May 2, 2024] This is my third visit. This time, we will be offering 3 times of ocean view with "[Basic course to enjoy seasonal seafood] ◆ A trip to spend time on the island with 2 meals included ★ Deluxe breakfast! [Seasonal benefits included]"First of all, the quality of the food was still good. I was very satisfiedAfterwards, the room was quite clean.Well, it can't be helped that people say that because it's a traditional inn (the first time was about 40 years ago).Afterwards, the bath and hot springs (probably brought in) were nice. The people at the inn aren't very good at talking, but I was able to talk to them normally.(Perhaps the person who is complaining is not good at conversation.)If you call, they will pick you up and pick you up (I heard many good things along the way). This time I felt really relaxed.I would like to come again if I have a chance.

We had a blowfish kaiseki course. Before dinner, I went to the observatory for a little exercise and took an unusual walk, and then soaked in the hot springs at the inn to soothe my daily fatigue. For dinner, I added Shirako and fish sauce grilled fish, and the Tessa was a good amount ♥️ Of course I liked the Tessa, but I personally liked the combination of raw blowfish, salt, and sesame oil, and the steamy pufferfish. The hotpot, fish sauce grilled (grilled blowfish), fried chicken, and porridge at the end were delicious. Afterwards, during the bonfire experience, participants will receive snacks and a glass of low-malt beer or a drink (reservation required on the day). Enjoy a variety of delicious snacks (shishamo, cheese, raw caramel, marshmallows, squid ears, salami, stingray fin, etc.) that are designed to be enjoyed even after meals by guests at the inn, put them on skewers and roast over a bonfire. I enjoyed it! Watching the bonfire, which cannot be experienced in the city, healed my mind and body ♥️ In addition to the bonfire, there was also a herbarium experience, and I was impressed by the plan and hospitality that both adults and children could enjoy!

The room was very dusty and not cleaned properly. The bathroom was dirty and the paper cup in the water dispenser had lipstick on it so I reused it. The food was also terrible. This was the worst accommodation I've ever stayed at.

Three and a half years ago, I left my motorcycle in Shiozaki and visited Shinoshima by high-speed boat, but when I visited again I used a car ferry that can also carry scooters. When choosing an inn, the key point was that it was the only inn located on a hill where you could see both the sunrise and sunset. I was also looking forward to the dish that came with 150g of Chita beef steak.Above all, the luxurious dinner is worth mentioning. This time, I chose a plan that included Chita beef steak, but it wasn't the complimentary beef steak that is common in hotels of this type, but rather the size of a palm-sized main dish on its own. In addition to steak, there are many dishes that you don't eat on a daily basis, such as spiny lobster, various sashimi including puffer fish, giant clam gratin wrapped in pie, homemade mullet roe, etc.Breakfast is a Japanese buffet style, and there is also mirin-boshi puffer fish, which is also a rarity. Tea and coffee are also included. It feels like a high class breakfast. As for the baths, the men's and women's bathrooms are switched at night and in the morning, but it was a bit disappointing that only one side had an open-air bath. The men's bath at night had an open-air bath, but the bath in the morning did not. I wanted to see the sunrise from the bathroom, so the bath at 6 o'clock was crowded, but I wanted to see the sunrise from a better place, so I went to the Taichi Misaki Kirakira Observation Deck, which was about a 20-minute walk away. The Japanese-style room was spacious, but the lock on the safe was broken. Although I didn't use it this time, I was impressed that they had a desk that was compatible with a laptop so that I could work remotely. The accommodation building and the dining building are located across the street, but the accommodation building only goes up to the third floor, so the lack of an elevator was not a problem for me.I think most customers, when visiting Shinoshima, take a high-speed boat and ask for a courtesy car. There are probably few visitors like me who come by motorcycle. However, the road is too narrow for a four-wheeled vehicle to even reach it. If there is one thing I'd like to point out, it's that although the food is excellent, it doesn't seem to be luxurious. I'm sure there are pros and cons about this, but if you use high-quality chopsticks and furniture, your food might look even more Instagrammable. This is a highly recommended inn when visiting Shinojima.
