The services standard is not meet with pricing compared to another hotel in Japan or worldwide. Firstly with volume of guest the reception was busy during check-in and at all time we walking by, morning, afternoon or night time so we unable to freely go asking assistant etc after check-in unless we have to wait in Q. Secondly, our room is not included breakfast and we thought that we should try it here on the last day before check-out. We went down to the buffet, staff at counter said need to contact reception get a coupon. We go reception she asked us to pay directly up front,I understand it maybe hotel policy but for in-house guest convenience there is many options for quick process- at the buffet counter, I saw there is payment options signage. Why would you ask us to go reception get coupon if we have to pay upfront anyway- reception speak with no smile and no assistance offeringPs. We decided not to use further services, luckily I just read all the reveiws and seem like FB here is not well prepare anyway.Building and view are perfect but services and communication standard needs an urgent review from management

Friendly staffs, they can help to arrange takyubin here. Room is quite big compared to other hotels ive stayed in japan but there were quite a few of sharp edges like the small table so if you stay with young child here please watch your child.Their pillows are soft type which i dont really like itWashing machine is available (i think it is more than 10) - anyway i always get a slot no matter what time i go in.Didnt try the spa as most of the time we were out travelling. It is about 7 minutes walk to yodoyobashi (red line) and keihan line.

The open-air bath on the top floor has been recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records, and I was impressed by the view of Midosuji and Osaka right in front of me. The water in the open-air bath was slightly hotter than the indoor bath, so I felt comfortable. It was just built, so overall it was very clean and nice. The breakfast wasn't that great, but it's rare to have breakfast overlooking Midosuji, so I thoroughly enjoyed it. There were more guest rooms compared to other Candeo Hotels, so the breakfast venue was crowded and there were no seats by the window, but I was glad I was able to sit by the window as it was empty while I went to get my meal. is.However, most of the customers and staff were foreigners, so I had the illusion that I was in a foreign country.

The experience was not good. The rooms are new and ok, but the service is really disappointing. We arrived yesterday and today they told us that the room could not be cleaned because you have to book the cleaning one day in advance, through the TV on the room. That if we book today, our room could be cleaned tomorrow. Never heard of it in any hotel in the world. Also, we went down for breakfast and they only accept the guests to pay in advance and in cash.

It's the best! The view from the open-air bath in the large public bath is particularly good, and I will definitely choose Candeo next time I go to Osaka. The Shinchi bar district is right behind the hotel, so I was able to enjoy a drink at the bar!

In addition to having the highest open-air bath in Japan, all hotel rooms also enjoy an excellent high-altitude view of Osaka. You can get the same Osaka city view from the observatory without leaving home. And the geographical location is also very good. Just 1km walk to the north is the Umeda business district. To get to downtown areas such as Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori, it only takes 2 stops on the Midosuji Line from the nearest subway station, Yodoyabashi Station. Even if you don't go to the core business district, there are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores near the hotel.
