It is run by a couple and I am the most satisfied with the guesthouses I have visited. It's clean and spacious with 2 toilets and 3 shower rooms. The owners are friendly and speak English so there is no problem with communication.

It's about a 10 minute walk from the nearest station, so although it's a bit of a walk, the surrounding area is quiet and calm. The convenience store is a little far away, but there are many restaurants nearby, so I didn't have any problems finding food. In particular, it was about a 20 minute walk to Yanagibashi Central Market, making it convenient for sightseeing.The dormitory is clean and adequate for just sleeping. However, I was a little concerned that the curtains on the bed I had chosen were a little short and could not completely block out my surroundings. Also, even though I was using the room in the summer, the futon was a regular one, so I felt a little hot. However, the amenities were substantial and I had a comfortable stay.There were some signs of aging in the sink and shower room, but we were able to use them without any problems. The lock on the toilet on the second floor is a little loose and may be opened from the outside, so please be careful when using it.Overall, it was a good value for money and I was completely satisfied with my stay.When I checked out, the owner couple said "welcome" and sent me off, which made me feel warm ☺️

Please think again if you want to stay in this room! ! !If unfortunately there is a natural disaster, this hotel will not provide a refund! !Although I was very young, there happened to be a typhoon the day before I checked in. All transportation to Nagoya that day was canceled. This order has indeed exceeded the free cancellation time, but! What should I do if there is no transportation available? It’s not that I don’t want to go. Negotiations with the operator failed, but the operator was very insistent. In the end, they couldn’t refund the price, and they couldn’t even get a dollar back!All I can say is that you book a room at your own risk. There is a precedent here. I hope that everyone will not encounter the same thing as me.p.s Maybe they insist on not refunding me because I am a foreigner??!Please think again if you want to reserve this hostel!!Unfortunately there was a typhoon before the day I had to check in. All the transportations to Nagoya on that day were canceled. By the way, this order had exceeded the free cancellation time.However, there WASN’T ANY transportation available. It was not my fault and I’d even want to go.I have negotiated with the hostel, but I couldn’t get back any refund in the end.All I can say is that you book a room at your own risk.There is a precedent here. The room is really really nice and comfortable, out of the blue! The hostel is well-appointed, everything is so clean and elegant. Also the breakfast is delicious. The owners are really kind, talkative and helpful. No doubt, it's really good value for money. I was so satisfied the stay here, willing to come back here if travel to Nagoya again.お世話になりました、また是非。

We stayed for 3 nights in a dorm. We arrived earlier than the check-in time hoping just to leave our bags at the counter but they were even able to prepare our beds early and have us checked in which was super appreciated and absolutely unexpected. Everything is kept in impeccable condition - super clean and tidy. The beds are comfortable, just the ladder up to the top bunk can be a bit noisy but that wasn’t really a problem at all and earplugs are also provided. The staff are super helpful and really friendly as well. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. 本当にありがとうございました！

Stayed there for 10 days and it was exceptional. It's clean and pretty much equipped with the necessities.I can't thank the couple who ran this place, きょさん & ゆみこさん ( sorry if I get your name wrongly) enough for the warm hospitality that I received throughout my stay there. I had a delightful time staying there. きょさん & ゆみこさん are so kind and friendly and they went above and beyond to make me feel at home.They even made me a one-time free breakfast and it was delicious. Not only that they even drove me to my next accommodation due to the rain & my heavy luggage. How thoughtful of them! So, so grateful. ありがとうございました!If you need an inexpensive, clean, comfortable and convenient place (it's walking distance to Osu), please consider staying here. You won't regret!
