We were tourists visiting the area. The staff doesn't speak much English, but they are very friendly and accommodating. The facilities are unfortunately quite old, however, the rooms are in a nice authentic style - at least as much as we foreigners could tell. The onsen definitely helped relax. The village is otherwise quite tiny and deserted. It helps that the hotel is only several minutes away from the train station.

I visited here with my elderly parents on a day trip plan that included meals and hot springs. The meal time was really short, and I was disappointed that it was over in about 20 minutes.Better yet, I don't mind a bento. The Kinuhime salmon was excellent. The hot spring water was very good, so I would like to go there again if the hospitality part is improved. The foreign employees are very nice.It looked like you did your best.

It was my first time staying at a HAZU group, and I was so satisfied that I wanted to stay there again.I wanted to enjoy hot springs and delicious food, so I found this hotel and made a reservation.I was planning to go by train that day, but the Iida Line stopped, soWhen I was wondering where to go, he came to pick me up.It seems that you can only make reservations from the official website, but check-in is at 12:00 and check-out is at 12:00, so you can take your time in the hot springs. The hot springs are also a little cloudy and have a hot spring feel. The rice was also very delicious. The quantity is also satisfying.Alcohol also seemed relatively cheap. It feels a little old, perhaps because it has been around for a long time, but the hot springs, food, and service are excellent. If you are looking for a hidden hot spring area that is not a famous hot spring area, we highly recommend it.

Stayed in August 2024 (3 people). I wanted to stay at a hot spring inn in the Chukyo area during the Obon holiday, so I searched online in mid-July. I came across Hazu by chance when I was looking for a place with few vacancies at a reasonable price. I knew the name of Horaikyo from the Tomei Expressway, but it wasn't until I went there that I learned that Hazusan was located here. In my opinion, this is a ryokan that I would like to come back to again. The facility is in good condition due to its age. However, ① the room I stayed in was very spacious (Japanese-style room (futon) + Western-style room (2 beds) + others). ②I was impressed by how delicious the food was. ③The atmosphere of the hot springs. ④ River view. I really liked it. Although it seemed to be fully booked, the place felt calm and didn't feel crowded. I liked the unique feel of an old-fashioned inn from the Showa era. Next time, I would like to go during the cooler season and take a walk around Horai Gorge.

The public bath is equipped with a key locker. It seems that those staying at Hazu Annex can also take a bath in this hot spring. It can be accessed from Yutani Onsen via a shortcut via a suspension bridge.

◆First visit in April 2020I stayed here on my way back from touring the Kii Peninsula.Although the building is old, the interior has been well-maintained and there are no problems at all.The open-air bath is in the best location, as the hot springs are open-air baths for men and women.Of course the quality of the springs. This is my favorite iron-containing spring. The official spring quality is NaCa chloride spring. Naturally, it is fed directly from the source. The food is delicious and I think it's a good place to stay. There is a small owl near the entrance that makes guests feel at ease.
