Although it was old, it was well kept and well-maintained.We rented the second floor of the two-story building behind the store. Please be careful as the stairs are steep. The second floor is relatively spacious. There is a shared toilet, bath, and washing machine in the changing room on the first floor, which you can use at any time. Of course, if there are people on the first floor, there will be encounters. You can tell most things by the sound. There is a large stock of washed small bath towels that you can use freely. Very convenient for those who don't mind.Tableware, paper cups, hair dryer, etc. were also placed in the room.If someone enters the lower floor, because it is old, it makes a creaking noise when you move normally, so you have to be extra careful. If you are renting the first floor, you should be prepared. The owner is a really nice person. The store and home are located on the road side, so when the store is closed, I contact the owner's cell phone and communicate with them. He told me that if I had a problem at any time, even when the store was open, I could call him on his cell phone. Even though the accommodation fee was cheap, they were so kind that I felt sorry for them.

A guesthouse located within 5 minutes from the Awa bus stop. There are also several parking lotsThe accommodation is separated. Is the owner a souvenir shop next door? There was also a workshop. There are many restaurants nearby. There is also a supermarket within a 10 minute walk.If you are going to Yakushima, check out the bento shop early in the morning. There is also information on services. The owner was a very kind, serious and nice person.Although the building of the guest house is old, it was very clean. The room is Japanese style and about 3 or 4 tatami mats.Futons, blankets, tables, hangers, and bamboo poles are provided. The toilet is a style,Washlet is a water gunThere is a shared bath, washing machine, refrigerator, microwave, etc.(The bathroom can be locked.)There are simple things like cups and kettles. It stays the same even if you stay overnight.-Sometimes you can hear voices from outside.・If you stay on the first floor, you can hear the footsteps and voices of people on the second floor. It may be a concern for some people.Payment method for guesthouses is cashIt was about 3500 yen per night. There are discounts if you buy something online.I always pay in advance by card at hotels etc.I completely forgot to prepare it. I'm glad I brought a lot of stuff with me.Sometimes I can hear voices outside

Extremely kind inn-owner. He made us feel so welcome and comfortable. We actually went to his woodcraft shop which is attached to the inn (it’s not on Google maps so we rang at the inn); he welcomed us in even though the shop was closed that day. The wooden crafts made of Yakushima cedar are of very good quality and he sells them at bargain prices. It’s a hidden gem. Next time we visit Yakushima, we also want to stay at his inn, which looks so cozy and with stunning views of the water!

We rented an annex for a low accommodation fee. The rooms on the second floor also have a refrigerator, kettle, and washroom. The owner was very kind and I was grateful that he left me alone after checking in. There are many restaurants nearby, and I went to Izakaya Yakusugi on foot.

I was able to rent an outbuilding. thank you for helping me!Since it is reserved for private use, you can relax without worrying about being seen. It's old, so it's not suitable for people who like clean hotels or people with a tendency towards cleanliness. The host's personality was very nice, and his kindness soothed my tiredness from the trip. There is a parking lot, so you can park your rental car, and you won't have any trouble finding restaurants. It is conveniently located in the Awa area, making it ideal for Jomon cedar tours. There is a refrigerator, washing machine and dryer. If you have detergent for room drying, you won't have any problems.

Stayed here for two nights in Yakushima.Let me introduce the room conditions: washing machines, air conditioners, refrigerators, microwaves and other appliances are all equipped; dishes, laundry racks, cleaning tools, etc. are very complete. The room is large and divided into one and two floors. I think it is a very good choice even for family travel.Extra: The boss is a simple and kind-hearted person. If the check-in changes due to unexpected circumstances, just contact the nearby craft store (which seems to be owned by the boss); the location is very good, only about 10 minutes away from Anfang Port. , It's only 1 to 2 minutes away from the bus station, and very close to the river and the sea. It's very comfortable to walk at night.
