The public bath is expected to close at the end of June.It seems that it will be open as a private bath for families.It was a good hot spring🎵

I went to soak in the public bath, which is open until the end of this month.The hot springs in this area are emerald green and have a sulfur smell, which is rare in Japan.It's a shame that there is no longer a public bath that you can easily enter.

The building has an ancient atmosphere! The hot water is great.

The tiled bathroom has four washers, two of which have a shower. There was a square bathtub divided into two in the middle, each sized for 2-3 people, with hot water on the left and just the right amount of water on the right. Small black hot spring flowers were floating in the clear emerald green water.The hot springs, which have a faint scent of sulfur (hydrogen sulfide), are alkaline simple sulfur hot springs (hypotonic, alkaline, and high-temperature springs), and are fed directly from a mixture of four sources.Although it is a historic hot spring, due to rising utility costs and aging facilities, the public bath will close on June 30th, and from July onwards, operations will be scaled back and the bath will be open only for families. This is a hot spring that I hope will continue to exist even if its form changes.
