I have been staying in APA hotel near a month this time.Services was great, the staffs are very helpful.I like to highly praised Miss S. NOGAWA,as she's very friendly, polite and helpful. All the cities I stayed are at good location , room's a bit small, but for the price I paid, it's worthy...

Overall customer service is okay. Bed sheets smelled funky to me though, and I think the location of the hotel is in a sketchy area, I couldn't sleep at night because of the loud shouting noises outside.

Stayed a couple of nights for the F1 race. The staff were well equipped to handle the influx of travelers. The room was nothing special but had everything you would need. Very comfortable.Hard to beat for the price as well. If you aren’t looking for anything too crazy, this is a great option.

My first Apa experience. I knew Apa room is very tiny. Yes, indeed. But it very well thought how comfortable can be. I liked Bed and pillow. I skipped room clean but they left new towel and room cloth at the door.

Very good hotel! So closed to all the shopping areas. Very comfortable to stay and love the fast check out. However, it is located next to a red light area. Other than this, it is a perfect hotel.

The Hotel itself is clean and the staff were very helpful, the rooms are however quite small when compared to the price, it's probably pricey because it's located in Sakae, but I am not very fond of that area so it doesn't matter to me.Overall it's good for a short stay as it has easy and quick access to the subway and a variety of restaurants, malls and convince stores.

The room was great, hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. I'm not sure of English ability as I used Japanese when communicating with them, but I imagine it's pretty good. The onsen on the top floor is very nice, too. The only thing a bit sketch is the street it is on, at night time. Very much a red light area. It's still not bad and I didn't feel unsafe or anything but it's just something to note and me be a bit uncomfortable for some after about 7:30- 8:00pm. Two blocks down though and it's high end malls and such. All in all I'd recommend it though! Rooms are good, building and facilities are nice and staff is helpful.

Great location, AWFUL showerheadsI've stayed in the twin-bed room for 3 nights during weekdays.-Location: 4/5 starsOnly a few minutes walk from exit 12&13 of Sakae station.Since these two exits only have stairs, you might have hard time carrying your heavy luggage up the stairs.-1 star for located in a slightly seedy street. But you can walk on a brightly lit main street most of the way to the hotel.-Service: 3/5 starsMediocre at best.I know I should not have expected a high-quality service, but I was disappointed when I was told that the luggage I've checked at the front desk before the check-in time (hotel's check-in time starts at 3) will not be automatically moved to my room after the check-in time. (i.e. My luggage will not be waiting for me in my room after I've checked in late at night: I have to carry my luggage up to my room)-Amenities and rooms: 3/5 starsMost of these cheap hotels have one of those single-use toothbrushes. This hotel has really nice and sturdy ones, and they give us new ones every day!BUT, their pillows? Flat as hell. It was like a flat cushion for chairs. And the room and hallways were claustrophobia-inducing size.Hence the average 3 stars.-Bathrooms (especially the shower): 1/5 starsI don't think the showerhead in my room has been frequently cleaned.Several holes in the showerhead were clogged, resulting in unpleasantly high water pressure and the directions of some of the water from those holes were not even. Moreover, because the water pressure was extremely high (they DO have an "adjustable" faucets, but hahaha nope, they only have 0 or 100 modes), and the showerhead cannot be adjustable in a vertical way, it resulted in water spilling from the edge of the shower curtain, and subsequently a wet and slippery floor. This might not have been THAT much of a stress if it were a one-time thing, but when you deal with the same result (albeit the fact that you've tried to improve the situation) 3 nights in a row, it becomes a STRESS. I HATED it.(Oh, and the infamous "unit bath"... I've accepted it. I guess they're super cheap to install, and hotels like this want their rooms made as cheaply as possible)*water pressure seems fine if you put the shower on a lower rack, but I think you have to be super short to be able to use that lower rack. Conclusion:I wish they'd invest more in bathrooms (especially showers) and less in those sketchy business books/Japanese history books with weird propaganda (+that weird-looking "APA curry" no one buys).I think I will use the APA chain hotels in the future, but not this particular APA hotel.

Been 7 days here. Room was very small but everything important (fan, etc.) there. The fees were quite low. The breakfast is quite good and manifold also for European as I. The nights can be noisy, it's Sakae downtown after all. But windows closed and air con activated is helping a lot. Public transporting is very close (so good location for exploring the city as well).
