After a days hiking almost on the equator, I loved the experience, in that trance like time during the early morning hours, of snuggling under warm blankets in a comfortable bed in the natural cool and perfect tranquility found at the foot of Mount Kirinci.Not to mention the great coffee and breakfasts from their own kitchen gardenย and coffee plantation.Not to mention the wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable host Erna.

We spent 2 nights at Pelangi Guesthouse and what can we say! Everything was exceptional from start to finish. We had booked the Green Room by WhatsApp with the manager, who organized the shared taxi transfer from Bukittinggi at a good price. We arrived late but despite this, the receptionist was waiting for us. The room is one of the cleanest we had after 3 weeks in Sumatra. It is quiet, well equipped, with hot water! In addition, the hotel is very well maintained, everything is magnificent and extremely clean. Breakfast is excellent. The receptionist took great care of us throughout our stay, we can only thank her. She didn't speak English but we were able to communicate using Google Translate. We rented a scooter here, not cheap, but at a very reasonable price. The manager is also very responsive to messages if you have the slightest request, we also organized our departure to Bengkulu with him. We had a great stay and we really recommend this address if you want to stay in Kersik Tuo! The price is a little higher than usual but it's worth paying more for the service you have here. Thanks again !!

For me and my family, this place is incredibly comfortable and quiet. Cleanliness is maintained even though you are at one with nature, the owner and staff are very friendly, the food is delicious โคโคIf you are a coffee lover/enjoyer, this place is perfect for you. There is a private cafe specifically for guests. You can learn a lot about coffee. For my husband and I, we finally found a V60 that we can enjoy and is the best ๐๐

Stay here for 6 days from 1 - 6 January 2023. So far the service is the best. The breakfast menu is complete, there is rice, vegetables, side dishes, fruit and coffee. Every night make a campfire while drinking coffee and the children study in front of the campfire. The rooms don't use AC and are still cold. There is hot water for bathing and a water kettle for making coffee, milk or tea. So far, if I go to Kerinci, I will definitely stay here again. Oh yes, the coffee is the best because it has its own coffee plantation, and for discussions about coffee it's very good.

I really enjoyed staying at this guesthouse. First of all, the coffee is really really good. I recommend getting the special coffee that includes a bit of cinnamon, delicious! Also, the rooms are really nice although I didn't spend a lot of time in my room because the common rooms and the garden are so beautiful. You can tell the owner has put her heart in decorating the cafe and the garden, the guesthouse looks so cosy. Lastly, the location is quite good because it's right next to the mountain and a few minutes a few from the town.

I like the T4, it's a bit expensive. But the service is good, you get souvenirs too. Have a coffee farm. At night, the entrance is very dark.

The accommodation is comfortable, the surrounding views are beautiful, plus the air is cool and refreshing. From the accommodation you can take a light hike towards the jungle gate. The service here is good, the breakfast served is delicious and delicious coffee is provided. If you want to buy coffee as a souvenir, this hotel also sells it. Just ask the employees. Very suitable for those looking for peace and atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The road access is also considered good, views of the Kayu Aro tea plantation stretch out on the road to this inn. The price is still affordable and commensurate with the facilities, views and calm atmosphere you get. There are several types of rooms, you should ask for room availability before coming. The place is really Homie, the owner is friendly. There are lots of breakfast menus. You can drink as much coffee as you like directly from the garden. But if it's a weekend or holiday season, you have to make a reservation well in advance or you won't get a chance because it's RECOMMENDED here!

I stayed at PELANGI Guesthouse three years ago when I was backpacking around Southeast Asia. I cannot express how grateful I am for meeting this wonderful family!As a naive 20-year-old I wanted to hike up Mount Kerinci alone (even though I was warned not to do that) wearing flipflops, shorts and a light jacket. I got injured nearby the peak and had to walk down many hours with my shin and hands bleeding. I managed to arrive in the guesthouse after midnight and the owners took a great care of me. They even drove me to visit the local nurse the next morning and let me stay at their place for a couple more nights.I definitely recommend this guesthouse as the owners are very friendly and warmhearted, the beds really comfy and they cook delicios food and have the best coffee.Thank you very much for everything once again! I wish you the best! <3
