Conveniently located near the port.I stayed at a capsule hotel. The hot springs are neither hot nor lukewarm, and there are saunas and open-air baths. It's 180cm wide and you can stretch out your legs and sleep. When I got back to the hotel, I had no choice but to take a bath or sleep, so I went to the neighborhood and had a drink before heading back.I was able to rest at a comfortable room temperature, but some guests were early in the morning, so I was woken up.I wasn't there the day I stayed, but if I saw someone grinding their teeth or snoring loudly, I'd be concerned.Even if you take the fact that it's a remote island, if it's 1,000 yen cheaper, it's still a good deal.

I stayed in a cabin, and I would like to thank the staff for taking the time to let me know if I had forgotten anything. However, despite being so close to the sea, the cabins don't have windows and costing just under 10,000 yen per night for a night without meals, I feel it's a bit of a poor value for money.

This is the best place for men traveling alone. Furthermore, a cabin type room is best.

I don't know why this has such bad reviews. I've stayed at hundreds and hundreds of hotels in Japan. This is in the top 20% of capsule hotels in terms of cleanliness, space, comfort and digital connectivity (internet, 4 power outlets). The attached onsen is such great value and far exceeded my expectations, especially for a hotel public bath. The onsen is a public onsen, but it is free for hotel guests. The water quality is good, and the temperature was ideal and not too hot, given Okinawa's hot climate. The sauna was above average. I guess the only reason for the low ratings is that the price is relatively high for a capsule hotel, but that's unfair given the location. This is still the cheapest option on the island, and people should be grateful a budget capsule hotel option even exists. Finally, the male staff member was hospitable and proactively provided guidance for observing the rocket launch. I had visited the tourist information center earlier in the day, but the hotel staff was more helpful and knowledgeable, and gave me the much needed confidence that the bus does, in fact, exist. The other thing to dock a few points is that the communal area, namely the hallway and bathroom is old and not as clean, but I spent less than 10 minutes in those areas, so it's really not a big deal.
