I think the location is very good as it is close to the downtown area and within walking distance. However, since I was staying in my own car, the parking lot was very small and there were cones, so I had to park in front of the hotel and ask for the staff.Parking is available for 800 yen. After leaving my car keys and leaving my luggage at the hotel, I told the front desk that I would be moving my car to go out for dinner. When I returned, I was instructed to park in the parking lot with the same number. After finishing the hot springs, etc., I returned to the hotel and when I looked at the parking lot with the number I was given, there was another car parked there, so I parked my car in front of the hotel again and told the staff, who told me to park at a nearby coin parking lot.It doesn't make any sense at all. When I told him that I had already paid for the hotel parking fee and that I didn't understand why I had to pay for the coin parking, he said he would give me a free ticket for the coin parking. It was probably a miscommunication, but there was no apology until the end.As for the hotel itself, although the building is old, it was kept clean and comfortable.Breakfast was delicious, including chicken rice and fish cakes. However, I will no longer use the service because the staff was not responsive and did not answer my questions and had a bad attitude.

I went to Kagoshima to meet friends and sightsee. Stayed here for 3 nights. The room is a little dark and retro. The key is not an automatic lock, but a long key.The location is convenient and it's close to Aeon, the station, restaurants, and everything, making it easy to move around. Each person was given a bottle of mineral water every day.

It's not an old hotel, but a beautiful inn that collects good things from the past.We want people to come who don't mind the lack of new facilities, rather than people who like how old the hotel is, and people who appreciate the appearance, interior, and furnishings of this inn.A mysterious space where you can time travel to another world for one night or two days. The difference in the feeling of being brought back to reality by the breakfast menu is interesting. It's in front of the station, so it's inconvenient for sightseeing, but I'd like to use it again when I return to Kagoshima.

[202409] This time I stayed with my wife for sightseeing. I think 10,000 yen for two people is cheap for a room without meals.By the way, my wife was baptizing the retro key this time lol. However, the key to the room was probably broken...even though I tried turning it twice to the left over and over again, it wouldn't lock, so I handed the key to the woman at the front desk and went out. I thought it would be a good idea to change the lock to a new one if possible. Also, tasting shochu is great. It's a bit disappointing that the Kura no Kami was empty (´;ω;`)=★=★=★=★=★=★=★=★=★=★=★=★=[202408] The exterior is old, but the interior is quite retro. The furniture and interior are made in the style of the Taisho era, and the hallways are very nice as you feel like you have traveled back in time. The door to the room is also quite retro and cannot be opened unless you rattle an old iron key, which is also a good thing lol. However, I think that retro-style hotels like this are largely divided between likes and dislikes, but I felt it was good. Also, the plan is good. Plans that include ramen souvenirs are a great deal.No matter which hotel you stay in Kagoshima, you get free mineral water, which is a treasure, and I think the service is very good.Breakfast also included curry rice and chicken rice, and I felt it was of very high quality. The quality is high for a business hotel, and I would like to stay again.

It had a retro atmosphere, and the faucet in the bathroom had a retro feel, which was nice, but the amount of water that came out was so small that I had to fill up the water in my hand many times before washing. The air conditioner took too long to cool down the room, but I managed to sleep.

I stayed over Obon. There's a little trick to unlocking and locking the room, but once you get used to it, there's no problem. It's close to the station and there's an AEON nearby, so you won't have any trouble finding food. There's plenty of wi-fi too.The retro rooms are quaint and reasonably priced considering it's near the station.I would like to stay again next time
