This hotel is operated by the third sector, funded by the local China town, and is located at the southern tip of Okinoerabu Island. Retired Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko also stayed here in 2017, and some rooms at this historic accommodation offer ocean views. Inside the facility, the celestial bath on the 5th floor and the large public bath with sauna located in the basement of the annex are popular not only with guests but also with island residents. There is a restaurant on the first floor, and the annex has a banquet hall, cafe restaurant, and telework office. As part of efforts to promote decarbonization, a shared EV car service is provided. Airport transfer services are also available and can be arranged separately.

At opening time, the restaurant suddenly required reservations. If you make a reservation for another day, they will tell you that it is a closed day (Tuesday). The next day, we were told that they would be accepting reservations for a limited menu. Apparently they have no intention of catering to tourists. It is no longer functioning as a restaurant. I can't believe this is the inn where His Majesty the Emperor stayed.

The morning buffet was good. You can enjoy your meal while looking out at the ocean at 180 degrees. The elementary school next door said it was broadcast on TV because whales could be seen.I wonder if there is a trick to seeing whales, which the employees also see.

I use it for work, and every time I am impressed by the customer-oriented front desk and staff. |However, as mentioned in previous posts, Viking is only in name, and this time too I am disappointed. …
