I was planning to go to another hot spring for a day trip, but the parking lot there was full, so I ended up here. The lights inside the building were dim, probably to save electricity, and the customer service was cold and unpleasant. There were no other customers, and the lights were turned off in the changing rooms and hot springs, giving the atmosphere a ghost-like atmosphere.I soaked in the hot spring in a reserved state, but...Day trip bathing costs 500 yen (within 1 hour). "Why...?" This is the first time I've been told a time limit in a public bath. Moreover, the water in the open-air kettle bath was too hot to take a bath. An open air just for viewing...I don't know what the accommodation is like, but in terms of hot springs, for this price, it would be better to go to another hot spring. Time is limited, and you can't enjoy outdoor activities. I feel bad about the customer service attitude, and in my personal opinion, I can't relax at all.

This inn is located in Kyomachi Onsen, near the border between Miyazaki and Kumamoto prefectures.I only went by public transportation, but trains and buses are infrequent when you get to this area, so if you don't have a good connection, you'll have to wait several hours along the way. This time it was about 4 and a half hours by train and bus from Minami Miyazaki. It was convenient because it was close to the bus stop. The facilities are old as it is an old inn, but it is well maintained and there are no issues. This ryokan has a unique open-air cave bath called ``Supponponburo,'' which can be reserved for private use, so you can enjoy it at your leisure. There were also three indoor baths, one for the family and one for men and women. The quality and temperature of the hot spring water is good and it is a pleasant hot spring. For meals, I used the upgrade plan this time. There are a few extra points in addition to the dishes in the regular plan, and the volume is perfect.

The bath is an interesting cave bath with a rustic feel.Even if the accommodation fee includes two meals, it is very cheap, and the food is delicious and feels like a good value. This is a homely inn.

I was not able to receive a Miyazaki Prefecture travel coupon, which is available to all guests. This is the first time I have not received a coupon worth 6,000 yen for two people on weekdays due to lack of explanation. There was no explanation given at the time of my stay. You can stay for 9,900 yen per night, less than 10,000 yen per person, and enjoy the hot springs to the fullest.Among the many hot spring inns in Kyomachi Onsen, I chose this one because I was drawn to the cave hot springs. The quality of the hot spring water was very good, but I was disappointed that it was not clean.Fallen leaves in the open-air bath may be unavoidable, but some very old fallen leaves were sinking to the bottom of the bathtub. It was a pitiful situation for people who like open-air baths. For dinner, I added Kurobuta pork shabu-shabu, but the portion was so large that I couldn't finish it all. It's a normal size and has plenty of volume.
