Honestly not sure what is "smart' about this hotel chain.Great location, very walkable with plenty of options for entertainment and food and beverage. And that is good because there isn't really anything in the hotel.Check in - they encourage you to do with a terminal that produces your key. The ground floor has a cafe which I think(?) is only open for breakfast.- didn't hang around long enough to find out. No gym.The room is chronically small. Hand basin in the main sleeping area. WC in a cupboard. The shower smelt mouldy. The bed, which is facing the door is positioned such that it is directly under the aircon (who designed that?) and wedged against a wall with the TV less than a metre away. One positive was that it was clean.'Breakfast'is a choice of a cup of tea or coffee and a ham or tuna sandwich.I rated the service as a one star because frankly there isn't any.Given the price point and comparable offerings nearby it is hard to find much to redeem this hotel.

The room is small and noisy, and there is no luggage storage service. I have never encountered a hotel that cannot store luggage. Sorry, I can only give a low score.

(*SEE BOTTOM FOR IMPORTANT INFO REGARDING LUGGAGE STORAGE)Clean, quiet, tiny efficient hotel.Seems like mostly local people from Asia and Japan? Not really for western tourists IMHO.You should be self sufficient. It’s not a place for tourists with big expectations, questions and needing a lot of help. Use Uber to book your own transportation needs. You should be tech savvy as there is only a self check in and out kiosk process.Rooms are tiny and can be a little claustrophobic so you should be a small person and not large :)Just know that you will not necessarily get a room with all those windows in pics you’ve seen. Most rooms have just 1 window like mine. You cannot make requests for a floor or room preference because you will get whichever room the kiosk assigns when you check in. Please do not ask to change a room if you don’t like it as it cannot be changed. The luck of the draw.Staff is kind and pleasant.Rooms are tiny and better for 1 person. We are a couple…one person has to climb over the bed to get off because there is no space and the mattress is up against the wall. We had to take turns in the morning to get ready. The other had to go to the lobby and wait. Toilet area is small and separate from small shower stall. There are no outlets for charging in the lobby. You will get 4 hangers in the room. There are only 2 hooks where you hang the 4 hangers. Nowhere else to hang more than 1 wet towel or anything else. All of your clothes and things end up in a high pile wherever you can put it. It’s very bare minimum. Makes sense because the room is small.Breakfast is just a toastie and tea/coffee.Please note:There is NO PLACE TO STORE LUGGAGE AFTER CHECK OUT because there’s not enough room for this small hotel to accommodate that. If you require it, this may not be the hotel for you.

This hotel was really good, very clean, reasonable sized room (for Tokyo) and friendly staff.||The breakfast in the cafe wasn't awesome. I think they were between menus, but what we had wasn't amazing so we ended up having most breakfasts at other local cafes, and they were much better.
