I do not recommend this accommodation at all. The room is tiny, the walls have stains and the little furniture there is in terrible condition. There is a musty smell in the bathroom and in the room since nothing is ventilated. If you dare to open the window, spiders or large insects may enter, so it is better not to do it. There is a lack of hospitality from the owners who impose sometimes absurd rules, such as not letting you eat at the dining room table (but drinking coffee). You have to eat in the tiny room, sitting on the floor and smelling of humidity. Better run away from here.

The scent is similar to that of a guest house or the seaside. It would be nice to have a bento box for breakfast, butWhen I stayed there, I was grateful from the corner of the room, so I can't give a harsh review. However, there are plenty of insecticides and repellents available, and countermeasures are being taken, so it's good for people who don't care.

20210327 This is my second visit to Yakushima (first time in 5 years) to conquer Kyushu's 100 Famous Mountains.I think this is a guest house. There is also a refrigerator, kitchen, and washing machine, so I'm satisfied. It was 5,500 yen including breakfast, which was a reasonable price and not per island price. Many of the guests staying here are mountain climbers, so you don't have to worry about leaving early in the morning (within common sense). Also, it seems that there is a shuttle service in the morning. You can also order lunch boxes for mountain climbing here and have them delivered here. You can order breakfast or lunch! ️There are restaurants nearby, and it's close to the trailhead, so it's the best option ✨I apologize for the inconvenience caused by changing my return date, but I was saved by the accommodation's flexibility.202103 There was no goat. This time I climbed Mt. Miyanoura and learned how great it is, so next time I'll come again when the scenery is nice and my kids are older.202403Used on my third visit to Yakushima. The owner had changed to a woman. When I called the hotel before staying, they seemed very pushy and unpleasant, but when they came to the hotel on the day, they were kind, and the room was next to the hotel's laundry room, so there was no noise when doing laundry. He was concerned about my situation and went out of his way to apologize, which made me feel good, but the next morning, the person in front of me in the shared room had not disposed of the trash from making coffee in the trash can, and after that I made coffee and returned to my room. When I was drinking in the hotel, the owner of the hotel slammed me in the room and scolded me for not throwing out the trash, but I flatly told him that it wasn't me. Also, I went outside in slippers and left them on the dirt floor outside, so I didn't want them to blame me for this, so I told them that it wasn't me.There is a letter of praise for the owner on display, but it seems like the owner's true nature is that he sees people and responds accordingly.By the way, since it was a consecutive stay, there was no interaction between me and the owner after that. In other words, if you don't tell the guests that it's okay to complain, you'll be attacked, and you'll be in a lot of trouble afterwards, so don't say anything that's on your mind right then and there. It's not bad, it makes me feel awkward too.

It's a nice, clean and comfortable guesthouse. Recommended as a base for trekking in Yakushima. A short walk will take you to a restaurant and a general store. You can make bento lunches for breakfast, and there is a shoe dryer and washing machine, making it the perfect accommodation for trekking in Yakushima, where there is a lot of rain. Also, the store clerk is a very nice young man. Former Ekiden club member, half time is 65 minutes!? That's amazing!!! Good luck with your next Yakushima Ultra Marathon!!!

The owner is pretty and kind. They called me Kimusang and welcomed me. After consulting with each guest individually, we provide information tailored to each tour itinerary and help with reservations. If you go hiking, we will prepare a packed breakfast and reserve a taxi for you. They rent bicycles for 500yen, which is very convenient. Stores large luggage while hiking. If you are planning to hike Miyanouradake, be sure to go!!!

It's a very good inn. This time, it was my first time visiting Yakushima as a family of 3 generations, and I stayed at this guesthouse. As soon as we arrived, the manager asked us about our plans during our stay and suggested that this would be a good plan. He made a suggestion. It was very helpful for those of us who were new to the island and didn't know much about the island. I pretty much followed the plan you suggested. They also worried about my meals, which was very helpful. Anyway, I highly recommend this guesthouse. Also, when you arrive at the airport for the first time, we recommend that you stop by the tourist office near the airport. You can also get a lot of information here. This has nothing to do with inns, but when you first arrive at the airport, pay attention to the direction of the bus you're boarding. When you get on the bus, it's a good idea to ask the driver which direction you are going. If you take the wrong direction, you will be in trouble.Anyway, it was a fun trip.thank you very much.

A good place that was good value. If you don't like spiders, it's good to know that big spiders can get in! You can tell and then the staff will remove them. The staff was very nice and kind. The food was ok, not my favorite type of food.
