This hotel is a relatively good value and located a just down the street from a stop on the Yamanote line. I have stayed here three times, including my current stay. Rooms are a bit small, but all hotel rooms in Tokyo are small. What really bothers me, however, is the horrible service. I travel extensively and NEVER before has a hotel tried to tell me I can’t check in 50 minutes early without paying a surcharge, despite the fact that I have a six-night stay booked and the room is sitting empty. This is not the way to treat a repeat guest! Rather than allowing myself to be taken advantage of, I went to a local coffee shop. So, to sum it up: great location; good value; abysmal service!Beyond all of the above, I find it incredibly frustrating that housekeeping sees it fitting to leave supplies and bags of dirty laundry in the hallway, in the way of guests passing by with luggage. I noticed this last time I was here and see that it has continued. Guests should not be inconvenienced like this. A picture is attached.Note that I attempted to air my grievances with the hotel manager rather than this Google review, but was told that he isn’t here today. How convenient!

Well located and well priced just 5 minutes from the Yamanote line, JR circular line. The rooms are small in size but comfortable and clean. We stayed on the 14th floor with beautiful views of the city.

There were many convenience stores within walking distance from the nearest station, and the location was well-stocked with everything from bento shops to supermarkets. It was a little smaller than other APA hotels and only had one elevator.I extended my check-out time by two hours because I wanted to watch the Dodgers game on the big screen, but I was surprised when the cleaning staff opened the door halfway through. A similar thing happened before at another APA hotel, but didn't the front desk contact the cleaning staff?

This is my third time staying in APA Hotel. The previous two I always stayed in APA Hotel Shinjuku Kabukicho Tower but now the price is very expensive and it always feels too touristy. For this trip, I deliberately chose a hotel in a residential area and I loved it! This area is very peaceful. As you might've known, APA Hotel is known for having a small but complete room. I am 181 cm with two suitcases on this trip but this room works just fine for me. Be mindful that I travel solo. The location is great, there's a 24 hour Family Mart just two doors away. And 24 hour coin laundry just 100m away.Komagome Station is just 3 mins walking and it's part of JY Yamanote Line so you can easily go to Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ueno, Ikebukuro, or Tokyo Station directly! One note from me is you might want to rethink taking the breakfast package. Since it is not a breakfast buffet and they only have 4 menu that you can choose from. The restaurant space is also very small, only can cater to 10 people, I guess? The food was okay, though.Overall, it's a really great experience!! Would totally recommend this option if you're travelling on budget, would like to try non-touristy area, and get immersed with the locals life!
