Unfortunately I cannot rate the Keio Plaza Hotel positively. The rooms are old and dated, and the bathroom was very small and dated. We also had to contend with an unpleasant smell in the room, and the beds were simple with extremely hard mattresses, which greatly impaired sleeping comfort. When we complained to reception it felt like our concern was of no interest. Since the hotel was fully booked, we couldn't be helped. After several inquiries, we were finally offered a room change on the last day for a small additional charge, which we gratefully declined. I think that an unhappy guest in this situation should not also be asked to pay.We spent the last three days of our vacation at this hotel and it was by far the most expensive and worst hotel on our trip. We had high hopes for a hotel that was more than twice as expensive as the other accommodations in order to have fond memories of our stay in Japan. Unfortunately, it was exactly the opposite. I therefore cannot recommend this hotel.Positive impressions were that the rooms were modern and the furniture was in good condition. The lobby is very nice to look at and the staff was always friendly. Nevertheless, I would save myself another stay in this hotel.

The buffet is very diverse and delicious. You can eat in a very calm atmosphere. The food is cooked right in front of you, making it even more delicious. I only use it for meals, so I don't know about the guest rooms. I think it's probably not bad.
