Stylish Hostel with a very nice common area which includes a kitchen, laundry and some working spaces. There is a rooftop aswell. Sadly the lockers in the dormitory are super small and there is not much space for your backpack. Other than that everything was just fine. The bar downstairs is maybe a little expensive.

Located in Kuramae, bordering Asakusa, the location of this hostel is pretty terrific. Asakusa is a very beautiful and peaceful district, especially when compared to something much more hectic like Shinjuku. Great access to a lot of historic and famous temples, such as Sensou-ji. Very close to Kuramae and Asakusa stations. It was very cool being able to see Tokyo Skytree from the hostel, and I was able to walk there during my trip. I would definitely recommend going to skytree if you stay at the hostel, because you are so close.Rooms were okay. Bed was reasonably comfortable, if not the most private feeling. This was mostly because only 8 person dorms/private rooms were available. Previously when staying in Japan, the 4 person dorms felt a lot more private and manageable. With 8, there were many more disruptions at night. The other travelers at the hostel were maybe the worst part-there was an extremely annoying American tourist that repeatedly got too drunk, and was a nuisance to everyone else in our room, not that this was the hostel's fault. At the price point of 35 USD per night, I would recommend this hostel, but I will probably not return. I think some other hostels have better locations closer to nightlife, and roughly equal price/similar accommodations.

Really enjoyed my stay at Nui, the bed was a bit too firm for me, but loved the provided pillow, sheets, and towel. Everyone we interacted with was helpful and friendly! I truly appreciate them putting up with meager Japanese. I also love that you can get breakfast included with your room and it’s such a nice perk to be able to just come downstairs and eat. Love the vibe, and the location makes public transportation very accessible. Definitely hope to stay when I come back to Japan!!

Nui hostel is the best hostel ever! Best customer service. The workers are amazing to converse with. Everyone is extremely respectful. Cleanliness is top notch. Been to Japan twice and stayed here both times. The food, drinks, and atmosphere is one of a kind. Highly recommend if you're a solo traveler!
